There were notes on steam two days before patch drop stating they added bleeding and talked about them changing healing making it "more hardcore"

I just bought this game its sick so far

i only just started playing and i can't stand not being able to join and then leave the raids quickly. then because i can't escape i go to board someone's ship and end up nearly dead from the get go. so naturally i lose when i jump the marauder pilot even though i got the first 3 shots in. i'm really hoping they roll back some of the update changes

not being able to sprint like a pro runner while delicately wrapping wounds makes sense imo

This update is a really mixed bag. For the most part I am not enjoying it. Between the healing nerf, them nerfing the M50, the more lethal AI, and the new hit registration, I am not enjoying the game as much as I used to. I can understand why they added the damage when you pod into full health ships, since so many people were just getting straight into pods and boarding other players. But I really had to change up how I play as well. I've had to slow way down, especially as a solo, which makes the 25 minute raid timer seem a bit short now. I don't know why they thought the game needed to be more "hard core" and I'm not sure who was even asking for this. I have died to really aggressive AI and really questionable players over the last two days, and I'm kind of over just losing all of my gear.

Added a lot of cool stuff, definitely made some major changes though that will probably divide the player base

As a eft player the heal change does not faze me that much and I have no idea why people hate it

They've done a hotfix to change the healing item times back to pre-patch times. You still can't run/jump and the healing items do less healing. I'm all for the gate timer, but I think maybe 10 minutes is better than 15. there are also panels on all of the POIs to call the space gates in early. Personally I like the breach damage being basec on the relative health of the ship you're breaching. It really puts the focus on space combat to disable the ship and then you have to breach them before they pod out. It also means shooting down their pods as they escape is an optional incentive to take flak ships. Overall, I think some things swung a little too far and they'll bring things back towards what it was before, but the update is a good one.

good vid! havent played yet but the changes youve shown seems cool to me. the slow healing reminds me of hunt. i feel like with the breaching changes you could still make your playstyle work you just have to remove the "return to my ship" part of it and keep hopping between damaged enemy ships. will see how i feel after playing tho lol

What happened to this game? I almost bought it when it was being hyped up by several content creators and I checked the player count and it said under 500 average players for the month of June.

Reading the patch notes I did not feel hopeful about this update, and based on what I've seen so far from this video I don't think I'll be playing this game until they revert their changes. Just doesn't seem worth my time.

The game is on sale for $20… I been looking for a new extraction shooter to play… played tarkov, hunt, and cycle… I’ve been mixed on trying this because of the reviews and not a whole lot of people I see put a good amount of time in… is it worth the $20?

I think healing takes a bit too long. But not being able to sprint while healing is a good change i think. It means you have to be more deliberate and tactical rather than just throwing lead, running away to heal and then repeating. As for breaching I honestly think thats an amazing change. It means u have to actually engage in ship to ship combat before trying to breach. It seemed wayy too cheesy to spawn in with a nice ship and have it be pointless when u can't defend against boarding parties. Then you have to stop piloting to deal with boarders only to leave your ship vulnerable to getting shot by other ships.

After trying out the update. Iam not playing much. That healing stuff takes just to much time of the game play. You can't take one hit from any bots or you will be healing for a long time🤣 going solo against 3 player groups are death. Other solos or duos is OK. AI got also a buff and are more deadly they say. Feel they have to much health those AI 🤣🤣🙈🙈 and Breaching is a joke 🤣 RIP marauders
