Thanks for playing my mod! Levelhead is like an indie mario maker with better level sharing (the Marketing Department). To beat levels you must bring the package to the goal and the lore is that you are training this delivery robot, so I had the idea to convert that into card mechanics. When you get the hang of it it's a pretty easy character at low ascensions because of snowballing, but high ascensions become incredibly hard since you have few opportunities to gain stats.

It’s great to see this mod reaching people outside the Levelhead community! We got to see it in development since it’s inception months ago, so it’s awesome to see people who’ve never heard of the game having just as much fun with it! Props to Noob Jr for his work on the mod!

Wow that‘s a pretty creative mod. You can hold 1 thing, usually a throwable thing in an orb slot, you throw(evoke) it to do it’s effect. Then there’s the package one which doesn’t get thrown it gets dunked into a goal for some kind of achievement for clearing the level card. And it progressively grows as you clear the levels… that looks like a lot of fun

unabashed Levelhead pusher here, it's a FANTASTIC game with thousands of hours worth of brilliantly-designed user levels that have covered just about any genre you could think of at some point, turn-based TCG-esque battles included! like, there are some serious human efforts there going criminally underappreciated by external content creators and the gaming community at large, and it *TEARS INTO MY SOUL* every waking hour of my life. PLEASE check out Levelhead on whatever platform is convenient (full game is on everything but PlayStation, including mobile!)

Man he missed out big time on that Package Bump Card, “Channeling the package deals damage to a random enemy”, so after every time he plays a Throw card, the 0 cost Package is returned to hand and then played again, so it’s Channeled and you get to draw a card, which would most likely be another 0 cost throw, even if it was only like 2 damage per channel, he channels the package like 2-4 times per turn with all the throws he has in his deck. Could’ve dealt tons of damage just by channeling the package multiple times.

it does damage to an enemy at the end of your turn once, If the package is in the orb slot. so basically works like a lightning orb for defect. It scales great with focus and can even stack with other package bump cards. Its very good but not quite as good as do damage everytime the package is played

@@flowa.r.t.5331 if you’ve used it in gameplay before then I see what you mean, but by slay the spires definition “Channeling an Orb puts it in your first empty Orb slot. If you have no empty Orb slots, your first orb is automatically Evoked to make room.” Every single time you use a throw it evokes the package, returning it to your hand, then you have to Channel the package again to have it in your orb slot. So you should be able to deal multiple hits of damage each turn if you have lots of throw cards because you are channeling/evoking the throws and package. “Channeling” is simply inserting an orb, what you’re talking about is just the passive effect of having orbs in the slots.

@@flowa.r.t.5331 or do you mean that it simply gives the package that passive ability to deal damage as well as provide block, essentially making it a “frost/electric orb” that provides block and attacks at the end of turn.

@@bozman2007 the card description isnt “Channeling the package deals damage to a random enemy”. its "having the package channeled also does damage to the enemy" that doesnt specify when the damage takes place exactly. But it doesnt say it happens when it gets channeled

I don't know if anyone let you know but those blobsacks and other throw cards have merge meaning you don't get more cards added to your deck they just gain that many upgrades allowing them to downgrade more before purging and the card that reduces the chance of downgrade would make up for the downgrades the cards gain but there is no down side if you didn't want to pick a different option. I absolutely love the game this mod is based off of. So its been so exciting to see this mod progress as Noob Jr was making it. He put a ton of time into getting the sound effects, animations, and art to be high quality and it really paid off. And did an impressive job talking mechanics from a platforming game and making them work in STS. I was first excited cuz its based off Levelhead, which ive been playing so much the past few years. But when i got to finally play the mod, turns out Its great and stands on its own feet. Highly recommend this mod and the game its based off of

Hello mister streamer/youtuber. This mod seems like something that has high replayability, therefore it could make for good content. TL;DR I fookin' loved that mode and you should play this a few more times.

Man, I'd like to see Intelligence as a stat as just part of one of the big general content mods. Free Scry every turn is a great idea for a stat that feels more at home as the "Watcher's Stat" than Mantra currently does.

I've actually had my eyes on Levelhead for years now, it's one of the earliest things on my Switch wishlist. Knowing it has Troll Levels (the best kind of Mario Maker level) has made me want to get it even more, so I'll probably grab it soon! :) The mod looks sick aswell

After watching the first half hour of this video I downloaded and played the mod and it’s amazing. The power curve you get late game is insane compared to the really hard early game. My only real complaint with the mod is that removes don’t feel that strong, your starting strikes can actually get really good late game and there aren’t really any good alternatives to your starting defends so you don’t get that much benefit from drawing cards

Little bitty defecticle climbing the spire, finally escaping the sack of the defect who he admires. After many difficult battles he reaches the final fight, and who he sees next fills him with delight. Diamond and Roundy the hottest two he had ever seen, he wanted to love them but Frost used him to be mean. He was forced to shoot them forced to attack, but all he wanted was to love them back. Defecticle may win the fight but it doesn't matter, after killing D&R he ends up being sadder.
