📜 Story:
Embark on an unforgettable adventure as we put to test the skills of a novice and a veteran excavator operator! This thrilling showcase follows the journey of a beginner who, despite his best efforts, struggles to scoop up a stone with his machine. Watch as he eventually resorts to lifting the stone manually, proving that it's not about the size of the obstacle, but the will to overcome it. But don't switch off just yet, the tables are about to turn. Witness the finesse of a seasoned operator as he steps into the spotlight, demonstrating the prowess that only years of experience can bring. It's a showdown that you don't want to miss!

Ehh most everyone can absolutely do these jobs. Not a high threshold of entry to get into basic level terraform construction they're doing. Are you relatively fit? Can you learn to operate some levers? You're in. There's a difference between "not every can do this job" , and "not everyone can do this job at an expert level" most everyone can pick up a shovel and do manual labor and training. My first job was in construction. I was eighteen. I handed the guy a dirty and ripped application and he handed me a hardhat lol. It was a good job. But it was in no way a job "not everyone can do"

Definitely not a job that "not everybody can do" most people with all their appendages, and even some missing certain ones could do this job. Now could they all do it well? Probably not, not the the level of this bucket operator. But they could do it. I did it and I was pretty overweight at the time.

@joseph1150
@joseph1150 10 ай бұрын
@@Miki-shinano Forklift operators often transition to other jobs. It's like the intro level of working blue collar jobs. The joke is that almost all companies have some sort of BS where they make you watch a video made in the 80s about safety, give you 15 minutes on the truck (at best), then hand you your certification. then trust you to drive a 10+ ton hunk of steel in close proximity to other humans who have a willful disregard for their own lives and safety who like to walk out in front of fully loaded vehicles. Forklift operators spend a lot of time on their trucks, so get used to how things move when you nudge them. A good one can pick up a dime with their forks. This is a result of boredom and starting out on night shift where there is less to do and even less supervision. When the forklift operator decides the pay is shit and they can take their skills elsewhere, they often sign up to become heavy equipment operators. Where there is often even more time to screw off. Often because you are waiting for something, like the concrete to be delivered, an inspector to show up 5 hours late, or whatever. So they entertain themselves with dumb things like this.

Over the years I’ve had to have horses buried, had to hire a fork lift operator for the job. These operators showed much compassion & understanding about our loss of a beloved animal, which had been a part of my life for many years. I’m amazed at how gentle they were in handling the deceased horse, placing gently into their final resting place. Knowing the animal is at peace, was treated with kindness & respect is such a blessing. The ability of these men to handle this heavy equipment with such finesse & not cause any harm made a difficult time so much easier to bear. In each case they responded quickly to the call & the cost was very acceptable. I have much respect for these operators & their willingness to help bring closer in a very emotional time. Thank you to all operators who answer the call to help in this situation. It is not easy to set yourself up for the emotions you will face, but believe me it is very much appreciated.
