I could cry. This is how much I miss Black ops 1 and the memories that came with it. Life was so back better then. If I could have just 1 day back of these times , i’d take it over anything.

So many memories on this game man, sweating multiplayer all weekend with the boys, jumping straight onto zombies after coming home from school, everything about the game was perfect. I used when stuff got really sweaty. The sights were so clean. Can remember ghost, sleight of hand, hacker to change care packages. Noob tubes on class used when needed to get people behind cover CZ75 extended mag was my go to backup until picked up another weapon. Probably used spy plane, care package and Blackbird most of the time

everything about this game is perfect, the campaign, the multiplayer, the zombies, etc. the map packs added so much cool stuff we had never seen in a cod before. search and destroy was a prime game mode and everyone interacted with each other in many ways. the multiplayer maps were all so so good. there’s a reason why almost every single map from the base map selection has made their way into newer cods. legendary game, this is what cod embodied.

You know guys all of you saying that this brings back memories, nothing's stopping you from going back and revive the old CoDs

I miss black ops so much man. I still remember black ops being first ever cod. I went into private match with a random stranger I met and went to nuketown. Being the first ever online fps experience, I was shocked at how much of a new world this was and instantly fell in love with this game. I would do everything to be able to experience this again

The player base for this game still keeps going? I love this game so much. I remember very clearly when my uncle brought it home, after his work. I just arrived from school one afternoon and a couple hours later he came and showed me what he got: and, fuck me not, it was BO1 on its launch day. Man, i felt amazing shoving the disc in the PS3 and just playing with everybody else. Also, this was pretty much my very first real and deep engagement with online multiplayer. Blew me away how fun this game was and still is. I'd love play it again someday soon.

The Famas in bo1 was so good. Just so satisfying, from the sound, to the iron sights and even the way it plays. Just such an amazing gun and always a favorite out of any cod.

Kinda cool in Zombies when you pack-a-punch it. Technically you would get the Famas Multiple Attachments (Red Dot Sight + Extended Mags)

I know most like MW2 for this era of COD games but this is the one that got me hooked, got into game battles, where I met the guys I played with for years, and made multiple friends from around the country, even some I've met irl because of this game. I think what made these old games better is the fact the guns didn't kick like real life. They used to be fun video games not people larping into going war. The recoil honestly plays a huge role in why I've been playing cod since cod 3 but I suck at the new ones.

I wish these old cods were populated on Xbox in Australia still. Can never seem to find full games only a few matched players also from Australia. I'm sure if backwards compatibility didn't fuck the matchmaking it would still be pretty easy to find games.

Fortunate, do you play this on the 360 or on backwards compatible? I tried playing this a few times last month on X-Box 1 and I constantly felt like I was a second or two behind the action. Dying before I could even shoot. Is it a problem with the backwards compatibility because I'm usually a decent player...

I'm very surprised you managed to find the game with DLCs on it seems like you got lucky because most Team Deathmatch games end with someone using invisible god mode classes or double health which by the way if you're getting multiple hitmarkers even though they should be dead try aiming for the head or knife them anything that kills the player instantly like a knife will kill them when aiming at their head though they will take headshot damage instead of body damage which is the reason why they take multiple shots

I remember getting flamed by randoms getting called all kinds of flaggots and n-words for using the Famas with silencer. It was great!
