This Is The Greatest Bank Heist in Chinese History
Handan, China. October 10th, 2006. It was getting dark. The vault manager of the Agricultural Bank of China was on edge. He was afraid. He felt something wasn’t quite right.
Yes there were two security guards patrolling the grounds, which made him feel safer, but as vault manager he needed to be sure himself. He checked the printer room, the conference room... there was no one there, no sign of trouble.
Then he entered the vault…
...where everything was also fine. The money was there, and the bank’s security system was down.
In fact, everything was just as he planned...

UCTUM, Sean idk about the processes in China for procuring a loan, but either way loans mean interest. I think this guy made a serious error in his calculations, he thought he figured it out and that there was no risk because of how many lotto tickets he’d buy, I knew someone personally who made this same mistake, she was a kid and either way I showed her she was wrong (like most kids who think they’ve figured out what no one else has thought of she couldn’t keep her secret, and basically gave me what she thought was the ticket to free riches). What he should’ve done once he was in this situation was just take the money from the third heist and get lost.

Well that is one possible character with that pronunciation since the tone is not specified, however it is not a common last name, the actual character is most likely to be ”任“, which can mean capriciousness. Interestingly, the left part of this character “亻“ is in fact a transformation of the character for person “人”, as part of human nature is to be self centred and unpredictable.

That was for embezzlement, which I'd guess due to the crack down on corruption. Embezzlement can be broad, and encapsulate some nasty corruption case, hence the death penalty (since China classifies corruption to be worthy of a death sentence). Slightly different from your standard case of corruption driven embezzlement, but still embezzlement.
