Glad to see you finally playing this mod. The game automatically sets the difficulty to Captain again after it starts the campaign, so you have to manually set it to Admiral again.

The Empire of the Hand is a little harder than most factions, but they also have some awesome ships!!

I personally think the Empire of the Hand is an easy faction to play as I love playing them so I might just be really use to how you run the faction and how to use its strengths easily

They have a safe spawn and good heroes,troops and ships

The benefits to their spawn is that you can build a sniper assult fleet and 2 border defense fleets. They also are a very heavy fighter and bomber based faction so the ascendancy star destroyer and the ormos are very good units. They supply a lot of both for a good price on pop cap and credit cost versus other factions imo. But having a mixed force defensive fleet with them is a must they don't have super capital ships so utilizing their hit and run tactics is a must. Almost all of their ships have the jump away ability I believe like 2 don't plus they take 5 seconds to retreat versus the 10 on other factions.

I wish someone would finish that Old Republic Online mod for the game it looked so friggen cool. Everything from their Old Republic Trooper's, Havoc Squad, Mandalorian faction, the Eternal Empire, looked beautiful.

Finally! Daley, I must say, it is VERY important to build governors offices on every planet you take over, it does a bunch of stuff you should check out yourself!

You should have multiple mega fleets 1 for each general and 1 for crucial planets that give a lot of things that you world need like cheaper troop production or cheaper ship production

Trade ports provide more income the more routes in/out of the system there are so make sure you put them in good spots (I think the limit you can have is 15, so it won't be a problem yet, but it will limit your economy later)

Generally, it eould be advised to place them above planets with a base income of 200 and higher.

factories for ground forces generally require a governor's mansion. Those factories allow you to purchase all the kinds of ground units you can build facilities for, on any world. And if a world has a 3 or 4 listed next to it, those are your shipyards for capital ships. BUILD THEM. seriously.

lore wise (which is legends lore) After Palpatine died multiple of the original Empire's high ranked leaders formed multiple "empires" and (some) fought against each other. So yes a civil war could fit what is happening

Really enjoyed your stream. For future reference. A good rule of thumb is to consolidate your holdings and do a slow crawl rather than a bum rush. You leave your lines exposed. Also… an orbital strike kills 100% any hero. Works both ways though

The most difficult factions to fight are the Eriadu Authority, Empire Rmenant, Corprate Sector Authority and Zsinj's Empire. I usually crush the New Republic early because they're weak tbh.

Hey Daley! This is unrelated but I am having a problem with men of war assault squad 2. Every time I try to play it gives me an error code: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION read at 0x(number) and it forces me to shut it down. The error starts when ever I click the launch button, and when it's loading and it shows the title, company etc.

Want to try something off the wall? Look up the TR-unleashed mod. You cN conquer the galaxy with all the characters from the clone wars through TR. You can quite literally right your own story with anikan not becoming Vader teaming up with Luke and taking on the emperor and thrawn. Or anything really. Have a look.
