With my best friend playing online split screen as we unlocked every gun just through playing casually. To this day I vividly recall our excited burst of manic joy when he unlocked the Blunderbuss.

Finally. The sky is looking clear my friend. After more than half a decade my friend. You did it. You finally did it. 🥺😭 I’m so proud!

I think COD WWII had the Supply Drop/DLC Weapon system PERFECT... Every DLC gun had a set of cosmetic variants (all with the same stats) and at least one of those variants could be bought with Armory Credits - an in-game currency. Jev just made a video a few days ago on Black Ops 1 and the original in-game COD Points system, and WWII Armory Credits were the closest we ever got. You grind the game, you get Credits, you spend them on DLC guns. You don't get enough Credits to buy every single DLC gun just by playing the game a lot, so you might have to choose between that overpowered sniper and that overpowered SMG, at least for a few weeks. And, if you were out of Armory Credits and wanted to gamble hundreds of dollars on Supply Drops to get the gun, fine. Your choice, but there are ways around it. I think this would work great in Warzone 2 because there's already a convention of people buying expensive 2400CP bundles just to get the new OP gun with a few attachments on it, without completing challenges in MP or WZ... And the biggest annoyance with that is that in 48 hours literally every wannabe sweaty player in the game has the new trick, and it's basically pay-to-win until there's a nerf or the rest of the player base unlocks it naturally (and with a free game like Wz, the paid MP games become basically paid ways to unlock DLC quickly, so there's more money manipulation again). It could be simple: you either buy the gun, or you grind to unlock it with an in-game currency that makes you have to choose which DLC guns are the best choice for you.

Any advanced warfare era Jev was mad! 10/10

An idea to keep pace up but players at 120 or even lower is just start the BR with a circle already generated. The purpose is making the starting playable map you can drop in smaller.
