tbh I'm annoyed every negative about sonic frontiers game, so I got today from my door and I was very happy and in a good mood to play it so far I play an a hour, and here's my reviews I actually LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!💙 those controls are new but that's fine for me because I do love new challenges and try something new of it.

Give it a couple few years, even Sonic fans will call it terrible. This happens every time a new Sonic game comes out. First, it's the most exciting game in the series. Then it's a flawed masterpiece. Then it's 'bad but I like it'. Then the next one gets announced and everyone goes 'maybe this one won't be as terrible as theast one'. God I'm so sick of this franchise...

10/10 most definitely I can care less about what anybody else thinks about the game as long as I like it that’s what I’m gonna go off of I haven’t played it I’ve seen a little bit of gameplay on it I’ve seen people do reviews on it and some more stuff people have a good points in a lot of things but at the end of the day it is a fantastic game thank you @Sega for this fantastic game thank you for taking the time to actually make another sonic game and to give us the experience of a open world sonic game with combat something that sonic is really good at speed and fighting everybody can agree with me even if it is a spin dash or whatever the case is I love the graphics I love what you did with the music in this game it’s fantastic and whoever hates it or doesn’t like it I would love to see you do way better than what they’re doing right now if you can’t I shouldn’t hear any type of complaints that’s just my opinion if anybody agrees please hit that 👍

It's funny they tried to say it should be more like generations or Adventure, yet the game story wise is trying to be a continuation of adventure (among others as well) has almost as compelling of a story (I personally think it's a bit better but could be bias and many like adventure over this, which probably means it's better to some degree), and the cyber space areas are very very much like the generations levels. Long short, they tried to say it should be more like Adventure and Generations, yet it way extremely similar to both and yet its own thing. XD

Just play the games you like. Most hardcore gamers know reviews are BS

I respectfully disagree. I played the game through the third zone and couldn’t stick with it. I’ve looked at the reviews since playing but I do agree with Digital Trends’ review, personally speaking. This may be because I played the game on the Switch (docked) but the graphics were pretty underwhelming for me. I felt that the overarching story was uneventful and tasteless and the world was uninspired. Sonic seemed to be glued to the floor or tripping on rocks with ragdoll-esque flips and spins. The story pacing was slow, some reused animations were lengthy and unskippable, the combat wasn’t a challenge despite being on Hard difficulty, the nighttime slot machine was annoying and interrupted the flow of the game, and there were a lot of other sore spots that took me out of it. While I appreciated the character development and continuation of the primary Sonic story (seeing each character take their past adventures to heart and grow was a ray of hope for the series), it didn’t make up for the rest of the game imho. Digital Trends’ review was the only one I genuinely felt aligned with. I respect everyone’s positive opinions of the game and am glad you’re enjoying it! Don’t let my comment take away your fun either, just adding my two cents here. But I just didn’t have a good time with it, and I feel that Digital Trends’ review was more accurate to my experience. You may not agree with it, but that doesn’t make it an inherently bad review

this game is really easy to understand I'm sure everyone should play that game and have fun until the end I can't wait for more stuff is coming from this game.

You know what I’m fine with it. The game can we buy years so it’s understandable that people might not like it, and at the end of the day, this game meant something for the sonic franchise, and it gives it a bright future. Anything I’ve learned about sonic, is that the public never truly sees what’s really there.

While I agree a 1/5 is low (I'd give it a 2-3/5) from the paragraph shown I fully agree, the game has a lot of issues that stem even from past games that keep being reused but in the worst form

Nostalgia freaks/people act like after A2 every single game has wasted potential or is just a bad game People probably forget that Sonic wasn’t created for a bunch of nerdy adults who live in their parents basements, instead it was created for everyone to enjoy and everyone has different taste. If you don’t like the game don’t play the damn game.
