Because it actually changes something 😂 Splitting gives volume because it separates the hair and the volume comes from the space you can't see between them

I use this hack as well and I find that it looks better, doing the "single wrapping" around the LOWER part, so that the upper part falls down and hides the hair tie 😊

Yeah I kept looking for easy hairstyles as I can't wear my hair open in the lab but all I would find mostly would be complicated ponytail variations or "messy buns" that still take too many steps or would just look too "sleak" for me to want to wear it all the time

Any secrets or routine to thick and healthy hair? I also have thick hair but they tend to break after sometime :(

@@MangoBrownie11 Well I wouldn't say I'm an expert on managing this mane to be honest, but I use a "wet brush" when I shower to gently detangle, be sure to find a shampoo/conditioner that's going to really moisturise your hair (but be careful of blocking your hair follicles - I use a clarifying shampoo once a month to combat build-up) and don't be afraid of mousse! I also use a bonnet to reduce some frizz and friction overnight. If you're still seeing a lot of breakage after all that though, you may need to look into your nutrition and see if you can up your intake of vitamin E or keratin. But please take all my advice with a pinch of salt! I've gotten so exasperated with this nest of hair that I've genuinely shaved it off a few times just to avoid the stress 🤣

All you girls here saying you have thin hair... you are beautiful anyhow! Men care about your feminine side and how comfortable you are with yourself. I am trim cut because of thinning hair on top and I am comfortable with it and therefor so are the women. If there was a woman who was not comfortable with how I trim my hair, well, she's for the streets then.

I tried to do this a few times, but it always tangles up in my hair either while tying it or when I want to take it off. Scissors always needed to be involved. It's a good hack, but if you have wavy, curly and frizzy hair, I'd recommend avoiding this 😅

That’s a great hack. Now take a small piece from the bottom of the ponytail and wrap it around the hair tie when you get the the end of the piece simply tuck it into the elastic. 100%Elevated ponytail.

Oh that's nice. My goodness when I was young. I wouldn't even be able to do this. I had to take two hair ties together even just a tie my hair up. It was hard to find hair wraps that would go around my hair. Now.. I'll tell you this when you get gray hair. The gray hair changes. Cross your fingers you get the silky pretty stuff. I got the crazy scary witching looking hair. The kind that looks like it's electrocuted. Every morning I wake up my husband's looking above my head I'm like stop.... I'm going to put a spell on you..😅😂
