Tbh as a non shen player I used to fear this champion a lot in early game and I don't think it should be the case considering how well he scales and his r. So I'm pretty happy that he's not that much of a threat anymore and is more support oriented as he should be

Imo Shen needs adjustment about his playstyle and abilities, either push him towards tank who plays only around r or tanky splitpusher/bruiser. Right now he isn't nearly as tank as others, but also lacks pushing potential without itemization and base dmg falls off fairly early. Man, even his W is bad compared to gwens or samiras

I've tried to play him, Shen was my 3rd most played champ, but after that nerf it feels useless for me, 20sh% win rate. Found new love on Kled tho

For those who saw 12:20 and thought that the damage didn't hit - it's because Shen passive tanked the damage. The "blocked" hit did over 100 damage.

But you still have to analysis the status factor to Shen itself. Whats more worth it between 150 max health or 20 AP in the rest of the abilitys besides ultimate. For example, a rubi crystal would increase 18 in your passives shield and 22 on your E damage while an amplifying tome would increase a bit your Q bonus damage and some items scaling like Statikk. I personally think that health is aways the most important status on Shen followed by move speed and ability haste. But I often build AP cause its way more funny! xD

tbh its the new mr item for any tank that deals ap and honestly some short range mages too in like veigar certain matchups. the stats the item gives are just insane for the price

The only case where Force of Nature is better is when youre running Ghost and facing high range comp. The move speed bonus makes you close the gap lightning fast and only uses E when already colliding the enemy champion hitbox... xD

After I saw some of his Shen jungle videos, I've been taking Cosmic Insight on all my junglers and have never looked back. Including Shen. The additional haste on Smite cannot be competed with.

@@Dyanosis My guy it was a bit of a meme comment chill :P But as for it requiring you to continue investing in AP technically no actually, I meant it to the literally sense building (only) Deathcap would increase the value of AP > R shield by 40% from it's passive, when compared to the 1-1 cost efficiency of ruby crystal vs amp tome. Also, not sure about your lifting analogy man, takes a lot of energy to pick things up and put them down. Naturally, one would be able to easily generate enough force for quite a slap. Pretty sure peak Ronnie Coleman would yeah buddy you all the way to the sun, if that's the physique you're referencing. Any body builder competing in the open category of that frame can do a lot more than just carry heavy things, Kai Greene's dancing is a good example of big bodied mobility and strength and control outside of static exercise. A physique closer to those that compete in men's classic will still do the same damage (with said slap), except you wouldn't be able to run from them. Only way you're not getting slapped into oblivion is if it's a synthol abusing clown that dreams of looking like a cloud whilst maintaining the strength of a 5 year old. There's a limit to how big we can get physiologically, even if it's via pharmaceutical enhancement and pushed to the very limit. Still, these boys are infinitely more mobile than an overweight, undisciplined and uneducated dorito dust licker. To me, that sounds a lot more fitting to be the depth and design of the item shop in League. Give a touch more thought and respect for the gym rats, we're not that incompetent :)

@@DyanosisLong format for youtube my guy. Movies are just movies. On youtube though 10-15 mins is the window for all these people with low attention spans. I myself expirence this after working content mod where videos no longer hold my attention. This is not the case with Petu. You can claim otherwise but at that point its just a difference in opinion im just here to support Petu.
