12:58 YES!!!! This part is my favorite scene and why I have eagerly awaited the new upload to the Mr. Z in Korea series weekly. Last week, I commented that Mr. Z isn't just intrigued by the flavors. He's also carefully tasting and deciphering the different ingredients and combinations that create the flavors and at the same time he's also processing what other combinations he can create with the ingredients and flavors. This is why he insisted on trying the ginseng extract and Achim Hetsal at the bar (Where Josh surprised him with a trip to Korea), suggested the caviar with the Gimbap and syringe injection of tteok-bokki sauce, added the kimchi and bossam to the broth (last week), and suggested the Soju mix with the naengmyeon in this vid. As a home cook and one who enjoys food and food flavors, I definitely try to do the same thing, but with Mr. Z being the caliber of chef that he is, I knew his flavor insights would be next level. It's a great series can't wait for next week.

Mr Z just made the restaurant a new recipe for the whole Korean to tastes. He came for tasty food but made a freaking new recipe.

This is so amazing to watch. Seeing a master class chef being so astounded by the quality of the food, and the being surprised by the flavours of meats he has tried thousands of times in his life, is just incredible. and on top of that, he still tries to experiment on his own, while trying these out. It shows his expertise, when he can just tell that the soup would work well together with the soju. And he is so excited to share his creations with the other chef as well. This might have been my favourite episode of the series so far.

Let it be known, Jeju black pig is the pork of the gods... and Mr. Z knows a thing or two about heavenly foods! Great to see him savoring this experience!

Honestly, who could have guessed that when Ollie had really expensive sandwiches delivered byt somone who looked like a bond villian, this man would become such a part of your channel. I loved your journey in Italy and I love seeing these clips of your Korea trip. Keep it up!

I literally could not stop smiling ear to ear while watching. Seeing Josh have a food ecstasy is nothing new, but seeing Mr. Z showing such a pure, euphoric reaction just brings such joy. And let’s not understate just how much that also means this restaurant’s food was just god tier. I don’t know when I’ll ever visit Korea again, but this place has just became a bucket list restaurant.

Thank you for writing down the restaurant names and addresses! Happy to hear Mr Z's perspectives (which is different from everyone who has come with KE before) on the food!

i remember being in jeju on holiday, walking into a random kbbq restaurant and ordering black pork. it wasn't even a super fancy cut, just samgyepsal. it was the BEST pork i had in my life. amazing. been thinking about it ever since.

👏👏This has got to be the best crescendo video ever of this series with chef Z so far! I love the way chef Z gives us his description of what he is tasting and my mouth is watering, Josh on the other hand is having his mind blown and Luke, you're a lucky man to be there as camera man! It would be nice to see Chef Z try some of that Korean Fried chicken others have claimed it makes them become emotional because it was that good, just like in those other videos, they made about it. I would love to see chef Z's take on that.

❤❤ They really should with travel agency offer a package and title it ' The Korean English Man Way '. That offers the best that they had with budgets for students, working class and exclusive where Josh had dine with his guest and team. Better then if even some of the high class restaurants have some events that offers tasting at an affordable price. I am saving up for a trip to Korea that should last at least four weeks , I am going primarily for the food.❤❤❤

Great to see Mr. Z exploring the similarity of Korean Pepper pastes to tomato. My wife has tomato sensitivity and we've found gochujang and ssamjang very helpful as a substitute. I loved his "Bloody Mary Soju"!

I'm a pastry chef bit different but I can't help but smile when I watch Mr z light up trying this food because I 100% get it. Chefs get so excited to try different new food and learn the process ect it's just so heart warming to watch him in his element discovering new dishes that sparks his passion. I think this is my favorite series you have done so far

Recently, I travelled Jeju island with my families and visited Sugseongdo in Jeju city twice during single trip. Amazing restaurant and literally it's one of best black pork place I've ever been. And this restaurant is already too famous to just drop by. You need to queue when they open for lunch or dinner. Have good trip Mr.Z and Koream Englishman team.

개인적으로 돈마호크랍시고 싸구려 고기 비싸게 둔갑시켜 파는 업장들 극혐하는데 숙성도는 걍 고기 자체가 맛있긴해서;; 다만 가서 돈마호크 말고 걍 삼겹, 목살 시켜요
