His editing and story telling is something else though. The amount of thoughtout cut scenes are genuis. The part where they added a dog bark then he throws the stick and the insta camera is on the stick... The jeep part with the puddle... Very clever and creative story telling that a finite amount of beings can do well!

@@KennethYimHomes He doesn't plan the whole video. But he (or any intelligent filmmaker) does plan a specific shot when he wants to show an emotion and make it natural.

@@mooonns I always think of how he gets some of his shots, were the car shots when going to the beach recorded by a drone? Did he placed a camera before, recorded, 180 angled the camera and recorded the 2nd shot? It's very interesting to think of it

you can make them, too. you just need to make a loose plan, take 20 minutes to collect each angle, capture a good take, pack it all up, get to the next shot, do it all over again by yourself for about 12 times to get a nice short... yeah, never mind

He makes it look easy and effortless, which he should. It’s extremely time consuming and for the average guy, it’s completely useless. Will use it 5 times and then stop using it. Its pros and cons will probably be discussed in a follow-up vlog, as it is his usual approach. However, given his status as the King of Vlogging, his strong praise of thumbs-ups is already significant. This small camera has huge potential for creativity, and any cons it may have will likely be outweighed by its benefits.

I found his review quick lacking and felt it was a get something out there first before anything else kind of review. The camera is good, the price tag has def increased. The issue with the SD card slot is the waterproof. Adds more moving parts and more chance of water damage / leakage.

@@mjmichaelallen I did not get the impression that he wanted to be the first to post a review. In fact, I saw reviews from others before he posted his. Additionally, his version was more of a simple vlog of playing around than a proper review. Regarding waterproofing, most technical devices, including smartphones, are now reasonably waterproof up to a certain depth, and this new camera is no exception. I would be more concerned about the device getting lost (due to its small size and lack of tracking options) or the flip-up screen (which is a movable part) than the SD card slots allowing water to get in. I have owned GoPro cameras 3 through 10, with SD slots, and none of them had the issue in question. Therefore, I believe this new one will not have the same issue.

They do have a variety of products to choose from that might suit your needs better.. I own an X3 and so far it has exceed my expectations, I had own GoPro cameras in the past but the insta360 companion/editing app is a game changer for me.. I do a lot of stuff on the go without even relaying on the computer
