I used to have one of those. Well, had one, sold it, got another, and have done so a few more times. It is suited to flash photography, interestingly. Or arty long exposure. Images of my dogs using a flash, or with no flash, using tripod, taking fun long exposures.

The Turret Holga lens is fun, I used one on Sony three years ago and one on panasonic 5 yrs ago. Fun, arty, not sharp, but that can be a great way to enjoy new things.

What were the pieces of tape for? I don't think not having an ND filter is going to bother this with it's light gathering ability.

Have had it in a Nikon F Mount for about 20 years. For a “Holga look”. A fun toy. Not even 3-D printed.

I just bought the Canon version of this lens with the required adapter for my Sony a6000. I have not been able to get a single photo yet. Everything just looks black. It is night time so have not tried it outside yet. I must be doing something wrong and will keep experimenting.
