I wouldn't exactly say that Bubbles is a citizen. He's the drug user in the equation, willing to scam for a fix.

Definitely a top 5 episode for me, such a masterpiece. Omar in court in front of all those people just flat out telling the truth about everything he does is fantastic, and that line “I’ve got the shotgun, you’ve got the briefcase…all in the game though right? “ is so brilliant. That ending is shocking too, so sad to see D go out like that.

Avon would never consent to Dee murder that was all Stringer remember Avon is big on family especially being that Dee mom is Avon sister they will never allow anyone too harm Dee Imo Avon really felt bad for Dee getting locked and was really trying to help him the best he could while he was locked up Dee was just being to stubborn and dumb Dee coulda been living the life good in jail just like Avon was and prolly got his sentence reduce but Dee was being dumb i woulda stayed under Avons wing til i got out lol

If Deangelo had taken this approach in the beginning, the cops would have never had Avon on their radar.

Stringer arranged the hit on Dee in the car with that guy from out of town. Avon doesn't know. Stringer doesn't trust Dee to keep his mouth shut for 20 years. Especially when he's cutting ties to Avon and his family

Also add in the fact that Stringer is hooking up with Dee's baby mama and it can be a little personal, to some degree at least

Something I just realized is, Stringer sets this up after Bird's trial. I wonder if this was another reason for him to clean up. EDIT Then again, he most likely had to've set that meeting up a bit before he sat in on the trial, and not so immediately when he left.

Dee's death wasn't set up by Avon... I'll leave it at that for now.

Personally I think it is a spoiler since it wasn’t explicitly said. But I’ve already seen the next episode so you’ll see my reaction to that than.

@@noahzynski Fair enough, my apologies. I thought it was obvious Avon wasn't involved; also I figured you'd have seen subsequent episodes. In The Wire you'll see many things are implied rather than explicitly stated.

@@noahzynski it's heavily implied. And knowing what you know about how stringer is feeling about Dee it's as plain as day without being spelled out for you. "My cousin up in there, he on it". Lots of vital plot points in this show are heavily implied as you've no doubt seen by now... Every scene is important, every line of dialogue integral. Not being condescending there btw. Just discussing this point.
