Aliex, that boat was moving, and you could hear the extra power in the Bixpy. I'm Definitely, adding that. Plus I can carry my original Bixpy battery, I can be on the motor much more, and go even further. I know they're going to come out with that 2hp Bixpy, I hope. Epic stuff bro 🌊🎣 🌴

Would have liked to see the video include when you did the whole setup not just battery. Over all great video! I have the same kayak old Town but have 2 left hands so I need to see it all😅👍 this will be my 2nd season out, I am still gathering ideas 💡 😅

Aliex, I'm going to purchase this new Bixpy. Can't wait! And I will purchase it through your link. I sold my J2 kit to my buddy, for his lightning strike, and he's in heaven. Lol..But does this new kit come complete with the Motor, larger battery, new remote, kill switch, and most important the power wire, Just like the original did. I also kept my spare Bixpy Battery. So I'll have the bigger one, and my smaller battery. I'll mount it under my seat as a backup. Just need to know before I order. Let me know please Thanks bro. 🎣 🌊 💯 .

ANNNNTHONNNYYY whats upppp so the motor is basically the same but the battery is twice as much power, actually more i fish offshore from 4.18 am till 12 am using the bixpy most of the time and i still had like 75% left lol what the new kit gets you is the battery, the control specific to this battery, kill switch etc, this combination has an extra speed 13! cool stuff. now for the spare battery i think you have to take the old controller you had for it. here is the affiliate link geni.us/TQzBQbu

I asked on another video but found this one was more appropriate to ask on. Can that battery fit under the seat of a Sportsman PDL 120? I'd like to put it under there and run the cable back to the rudder on the motor. Any chance you can tell me if that works? Thanks!

Hey Alex, You mentioned about speed 13? Do you mean we can have faster speed for our J-2 with this new battery? If that's true, I am really wondering how fast we can get. My only complaint about Bixpy is that it is a little too slow compared to some other brands. With this new battery, I wish Bixpy would introduce a new jet motor that is faster than J-2.

It can but the j1 board has to be upgraded and that has a cost

A call to bixpy revealed that it "may" throw error beeps needing to reset magnet. Software issues. For the price I'd rather not deal with problems. For us with J1, we are out of luck.

@@AliexFolgueira I can only speak from my perspective. I don't get excited about batteries. The video was great. Good visuals and the lighting was good. The electric motors do a good job as far as they can go. They will not beat gas motors as far as ease of powering or use. They are an excellent use with kayaks as the speed is not a paramount issue. The battery going over 2 hours use is impressive. But for the size carrying a backup battery was not an issue if you ran out. You have done it several times. But, not having to do so is a move in the right direction. I liked the choppy water section when the wave came over the freeboard. It showed that there was nothing to really get excited about the water would just bail through the scuppers. I liked it. The title was click bait and worked. Good thought there.

This is wonderful & necessary, but the fishing experience is accomplished by SALTSTRONG on how to fish & think like a fish (eg., Biology 201, 301 302, 303 & graduate work & beyond).

I own two kayaks, but I have to laugh when I see low loaded down yours is. It would be cheaper to buy a Pelican Bass Raider or Predator (sp?). Before the Demo-idiots ruined our economy, you could buy a 10 foot 50" beam bass raider for $600. Couple of hundred $ for a trolling motor and you were in business.
