Today, Ben and I share how our conversations sometimes feels like we’re on a roller coaster. Similar to a life with an addict.
Ben is still navigating and discovering what he wants.
As the loved one, I recognize I have no control over Ben and his actions. I can only control my actions and reactions.
Where there is breath there is hope✌️❤️

Ben climb that mountain one step a time. Life will get better. I Know you are tired of all the drama. It will only change if you change it. Your mom loves you and wants a good life for you drug free. I know you hate being where you have to rely on something to get thru your day. I’ve heard my own son say the same things you say. We all want to see you free and happy. Praying for you buddy.

I totally get you, I have been where you are and felt so hopeless for over 20 years. My son has been clean for 53 days today, I feel like it’s a modern day miracle. I know it can all change in an instant but for now I’m enjoying having my son back. Where there is breath there is hope ❤️🙏

I relapsed last week after being clean for a year , even when your clean every day is a struggle and each time it seems even harder to get back up , i feel for Ben he has youth on his side at the moment , but most importantly he has an amazing mum and family , you can beat this ben , as always much love too you both

John I’m hoping you see this relapse as a sign to get extra support. Remember you are worthy and deserve happiness. I know you got this. Sometimes relapse is a reminder of what we don’t want. Sending you many prayers and strength. You got this!!!! 🙏✌️❤️

@@SpiritToLive thank you for your kind words, i haven't let anyone know as i feel such a failure my family helped pay for my last rehab which makes me feel worse, even though i had a year clean time there wasn't a day i didn't think about it, its just about taking one day at a timè, and like you say all the time you have breath theres hope , much love ❤👍👌

John you are not failure. A failure is when you give up. Don’t give up. That’s not who you are. Take one day at time or even a minute or second at a time. You got this!! ✌️ ❤️
