@@truth7416 interesting what you say, but God spoke to me through Paul Washer and his message brought me to my knees in worship to God. The word of God needs to be taken as a whole.... But you seem to read your Bible selectively which without the wisdom of the Holy Spirit can be deadly

@@truth7416 there's just one God that brings you to your knees like no other. Many may claim that they felt it it's true, but an encounter with a Power like this will change you forever. "You will know them by their fruit...." I see no evidence of that power in Muslims or Jehovah witnesses as much as they can say they were brought to their knees, I'm sorry. As for the word of God....the spirit who God Himself put in the believers is enough to teach them how to read it . The word is life for those who have the spirit, it cannot be twisted.

Could you imagine if this man was on prime time TV. I can almost guarantee God the Holy Spirit would work through him mightily and many would be transformed and regenerated! I am not anywhere close to how I used to be with the Lord and I pray that hunger and fire comes back again. I hate to say this but it seems like Americas glory days are almost extinct and God has allowed a great delusion to blind so many to the truth! Not because He is unloving, but because this country which had been blessed more than any other since the dawn of civilization has for the most part said we don't want you we don't believe in you and we'll take it from here. Well we know love that is forced is not love. It has to be reciprocal and since most never learn from history we are and have been doomed to repeat it! Taking up arms won't work because even if we won we would still have the moral decay and lawlessness. So the only 2 things I can say is those true believers left about 15% need to pray like never before and preach the Gospel the good news!

@@frostprism7267 I do not have any joy in saying this. He preaches a false legalistic gospel. Take for instance the first two scriptures he brings up in this video. He says "if only these two verses were taken seriously. If only these two verses were brought before our eyes..." Well... if that was all the Bible you had you'd be lost to hell. At the very least, you'd be very mislead about what the Gospel really is. No idea how and why we are saved. First, what is the context of the first verse in Mark 12:30? Jesus is being questioned/tested by scribes and Sadducees about which is the greatest commandment. But we are not, as we go on to understand the Gospel, saved by following the commandments. We are saved by the cross. By grace through faith. We are not saved by "how much we love God." We are saved because God loved us and bore our sin on the cross. And then our response to that is faith. Jesus said it. We believe it. There are literally over a hundred verses on salvation through faith alone. Faith in what? The work of Christ on the cross! Not our work, but His work! P. Washer gives lip service at times to faith, but then he will twist it, turn it around back to works by repeatedly saying "how do you know you have faith if you don't have works?" Well we can play that game all day long. Now James talks about works.. but that is directed at having your faith validated by the world. Not by God. [if a brother is hungry, and you don't feed him, how will your faith save him?] But that has zero to do with being justified before God. Context matters. Here are clear scriptures supporting what I am stating. Look them up yourself. Eph. 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast" Heb. 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Romans 3:24 "and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." Romans 4:5 "However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness." John 6:29 "Jesus replied, "The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent." And there are so many more. Yes, God wants us to have a changed heart and do good works. But those works will never save us. Not a single one.

I whole heartedly disagree. It's true that the call to mission takes priority over everything else. But we are also called to live out our normal day to day lives. We can and should still go to an average 9-5 job, marry, have kids, ride bikes, take trips, play football... and yes, play video games also. Mission is the main goal but it HAS to be surrounded with a balanced lifestyle, otherwise you burn bright for a while and then go out with the first gust of the wind, because you burn out. We are called tohave strong, steady flames, and these are supported by a healthy lifestyle that can and should involve time OFF from a mission, and entertainment. If games are goal of your life, shame on you. But if you can balance games to be a healthy snack inbetween major christian meals, it's the way to go man, gave fun and don't look back.

Lots of young men spend 20+ hours per week playing video games; and when it's reached that level it pushes out other things we should be doing and is effectively a form of idolatry. I'm pretty sure if you asked Paul Washer he'd have no objection to someone who spends 2-3 hours a week gaming - but short clips like this leave no space for context/balance.

The truth will set us free. Some just put it in a way that hits us in the face. And we are grateful for that 😂

@@naturematt4340 Lost count of how many sermons I've listened to. I'm starting to realize he is not unlike charismatic preachers in the way he manipulates and guilts people. He just isn't jumping around and dancing on stage shouting "Jesus" as he does it. No, he's calmly standing there looking very reformed and sophisticated as his voice cracks and trembles but he is still very much manipulating you with emotions. In the sermon "Are you truly saved" at around the 37 min. mark he actually said people who come forward crying at the end of a sermon are the real Christians and those who sit back and don't are stone cold carnals comparing them to people going to hell. Can you imagine sitting there in the church, and you love God and believe the Gospel, but you didn't go forward crying that day for whatever reason, you don't need a reason...and Paul Washer just publicly shamed you as a stone cold carnal for remaining in your seat, and not being broken and crying from his incredible sermon! That was classic manipulation by guilt! He should have been thrown out of the church when he said that. It was disgusting! Those words did not come from the Gospel, they came from the pit of hell!
