Evergrey is one of my absolute favourite bands - ever since I first heard their song "Nosferatu" off their scond album - instant fan! Love that whole album. Feels like half a lifetime ago lol... And then their third album came and blew our minds (wow) I think I actually wore it out.... Imho they had a couple of weak albums "in the middle" but lately it seems they're just getting better and heavier. Evergrey is probably one of the bands I've seen most time live (who's counting) and I will see them again in september here in Stockholm - looking forward to that! Cheers from Sweden. P.S You could easily make a playlist with just Evergrey songs - there's a lot of gems. I for sure have such a playlist

Yeah, they are very incredible. Listen to August mornings, eternal nocturnal, save us. Hell, just take their discography. Throw a dart and listen to it. They’re that good

Jonas (the drummer) is most likley leaving (no statement yet) Evergrey and thanking all the fans for their support, an older song you should check out is King Of Errors a really banger and fits in your playlist :P

These guys fascinate me. I wish I had paid more attention to them earlier. Their musicality is out of sight. They aren't, surprisingly, that well known outside of the metal world, and that is a pity. I think you should look at Ominous, but, before that, I would like to see you react to an older song of theirs "In Orbit." It's from 2016 and features Floor Jansen from Nightwish.
