Just wondering, when I make builds for a 1k budget the most I can get is a 5600 and 6700xt and it’s not cuz I’m spending too much on other parts. I don’t understand how he got a 7600 and 6800 and fit it into a 1k build. Are the pc part picker prices innacurate? Or is he getting deals he’s not talking abt?

@@DoovidE uhh 1: he's at microcenter, the prices there aren't inflated (not too terribly) 2: microcenter deals 3: if I were to spec a build, I would probably not prioritize the cpu and gpu as much as this guy, I would probably go for a 6750xt and like a 12600k with a more expensive cooler, case, powersupply, motherboard, memory, storage, etc. Besides the cpu and gpu he'll go for the cheapest but still good parts. You just gotta do a bit of searching

@@mythiculwhy would you not spend most of your budget on the CPU and GPU? They’re the 2 most important things in the entire PC build. I’m not saying you should fully cheap out in the rest (like good PSU is also important) but I mean everything should be second priority after CPU and GPU.

i love you ed i am watching you for 3 or 4 years and i havent had a pc for 10 years now i bought me a machine and i will enter the setup wars. its not about winning its about competing and being a part of something. I love what you did with your channel and youtube was missing it even though there was an abundance of setups online they were all scattered around and not so good. Ed this was a fantastic build. I for one being an old dude I'm not into the blinky flashy lights/RGB. An all dark build or an all white themed build would be more my speed. The nice thing about gaming computers there is one waiting to be built for everyone. Just pick your parts and go for it. Thank you for posting excellent content. You have a PC heart of gold.

I have only been looking at pc builds within the last month or 2, so to watch your videos is always very exciting to me, I personally game on an ACER Nitro 5 laptop from 2020 currently, but I am slowly looking to build my first gaming pc, so again, watching your videos is very inspirational to me, I really wish we had more places dedicated to PC components here in the UK, yeah shopping online is convenient… but I am the type of customer that likes to touch and feel what I am buying, it helps me with my customer journey and enhances my purchasing experience :) love the content Ed, keep it up

As soon as you said mATX case the 205M was my first thought for budget. Got mine at MicroCenter in January for $65, as well, and it's a sweet case. Wish it came with the exhaust fan like the mid tower 205 variants, but that's just a nitpick and for the price can't really complain too much. Loved seeing you take time and show your interactions with fans while walking around the store., def made me smile.

Instead of paying 20$ more for cables extension, wouldn’t it make more sense to pay 20$ more for a better powersupply with black cables, like the corsair one? Nice build overall!
