I have the XM4s and I don’t think you will be disappointed. I would go with these over the Sonys even though both are spectacular earbuds. The only downside with this is the ANC isn’t a strong, but everything else is top-notch.

Great video and review! Keep it up -> subscribed :) I picked mine up yesterday, upgrading (sort of) from the EQ's. Luckily, my local shop secured me a pair of them in gold early 🤩 These are definitely not for anyone who prioritises the absolute isolation from the outside world, I agree! They're more for finding spectacular sound! This, I find, they absolutely deliver :)

I agree. They’re not perfect. But absolutely up there as great earbuds. And you got goldtone as well??? I’m waiting for that color way to come out and add it to my collection, it’s gorgeous.

With Bang and Olufsen your also paying not just for the tech and BnO have been pioneers of much such as Class D amplification or their upside down tweeters that do 180 or 360 degree sound widths and their turntable cartridges were completely different to any other only in NYC Soundsmiths can you purchase them under licence. You also pay for build quality they do not cut any corners whatsoever constructing AV equipment. I’m a huge fan of their stuff and I’m an ex separates guy who swore to British 🇬🇧🎶 black boxes and wide chunky speakers 🔊! Not now it’s Bang and Olufsen kit fir me it’s brilliantly designed, manufactured, looks in many cases like a lump of modern art in fact many pieces are housed in the NYC. Museum of modern art ! And they sound Fantastic!!!!!! As the main man says on his channel they are a Porsche to many a BMW or I’d say a Rolls Royce 🇬🇧

They are excellent earbuds. And I will definitely dip into more B&O products in the future. And you’re right they are definitely more Rolls-Royce, as I haven’t felt anything like them since. Although the active noise canceling and transparency were the sticking point for me. I’m looking forward to the next pair there

@@wlsntech to be honest Wilson I think BnO concentrate on sound quality of listening to music so THE FULL attention is turned to an audiophile experience. I have zero idea why some audiophiles look down at BnO . The real ones such as Peter Ledderman or Andrew Robinson have only great things to say as does that Geezer from Sausalito Audio California . Try checking out Sounds Heavenly bang and Olufsen you tube channel a guy called Steve Marriott does it . Steve’s a gentleman SH is his company he makes audio cables , high quality at extremely affordable prices. He’s a top man a BnO NUT like me his videos are great please check them out I put one of my faves on here for you .

I have the exact same models ☺️ My ears and music taste may be different , and overall, it's very individual on your priorities (bass, ANC, transparency, touch/gesture functionality, how it fits your ear and etc. Anyhow my personal list is like this: If price is not considered. 1) Beoplay EX 2) nothing ear(1) 3) airpods pro 4) airpods 3

It’s a constant, explaining this to everyone; the subjective quality of every earbud plus considering the price and daily usage. Some understand, and some scream at me to tell them, “the best!!! Now!” 😅 I’m glad you’re part of the former.

@@wlsntech talking about the nothing ear (1) by the way. Yes, it mos def has some flaws, but for $99 I still can't believe it's overall value. The EX are high-end compared to the nothing ear, but still flawed and sound wise, not to be compared to real high end devices like audio64 If you don't dig b&o , I think (like you) that most people would be better of purchasing either airpods , nothing or even oneplus nord buds (if ANC isn't a dealbreaker) But that's just my opinion ☺️

Very honest that I do not see in other videos, especially the very easy to scratch case, poor ANC @ Transparency despite overprice, terrible calling experience. I will push to air pod pro 2

I was wondering if have try the foam ear tip rather than plastic ear tip, you could find the differences quality of the sound, for my preference the foam are the best

I’m not a fan off foam ear tips, they don’t fit as well in my ears. But the fit of these were excellent

This is more comfortable but it’s not an upgrade. It’s a lateral move.

Great pair but there are more affordable options that’ll do just as well or more well rounded. It’s a $100,000 Porsche but there are some great $60,000 BMWs to consider if you can’t afford it. Like the $250 Sennheiser Momentum 3s I’m reviewing right now sound just as good with stronger ANC/Transparency.

@@wlsntech so regardless of price you think the EX doesn't sound any better than the MTW3? Because personally I believe porsche is on another level in terms of pure driving experience and performance over a BMW. BMW has its own pros over the porsche though.

The EX sounds better than the Momentum’s but there’s not as large of a gap as you would think for the price range. With the momentum‘s also having excellent and better transparency and active noise cancellation, longer battery life, and equal call quality. I want people to know that you don’t have to spend 400 bucks. If you want to get them for amazing sound I will not fight you or disagree. But $400 is a pretty penny and I want to make sure that everyone knows you can get almost as good earbuds at almost half the price.

I’m currently testing out the momentum wireless 3 and I’d place them both on the same level. But I’m gonna be straight with you. After testing dozens of earbuds this past year. They all fall into 3 or so buckets, bad, okay, and good. These fall into good and picking a number one is all subjective. You will not be disappointed but I’m telling you, with the momentum’s and whatever comes out this year, you might get the same sound quality for $100 less.

Yeah no problem, I love what I do but I’m starting to see some patterns reviewing so many things. Things are amazing and at this point it’s only down to preference. Does it have this one feature that works for me or this other feature I don’t care for. But at the end of the day, if I gave it to you free, you’d love it and never look back.
