Every since BFA I basically only try to play keys with friends now. It's a night and day difference. There are just so many people out there that you question how they even got to where they are in terms of progression and gear. Even then - it's fine to fail a bit but a lot of people just straight up can't function socially and will blame everyone else but themselves despite them being the only things that could have caused their own problem. You can record it and show it to them frame by frame being their fault and they will go "No it wasn't"

I just love how the priest pulling the ads using MC in the Neltharus was a "he saved the key", eventually things go so wrong that we're rooting for it to keep happening.

Funniest thing to me is that people think of excuses to type way faster than thinking of correct decisions to make during gameplay. It's like they have a notepad next to their keyboard with two columns: 1:) "If I screw up like this..." 2:) "Then type this..." heh

Afflicated spawn in some of the strangest place, it's mind-boggling. Had it spawn under big bosses so many time and not being able to mouse over or click it has been frustrating to say the least.

Things I learned healing keys - Do not play with Azralon, Ragnaros, Quel-thelas, Area52, Sargeras and honestly if I were an American (I am Australian) Do not play with Frostmourne OCE. Secondly if you're a healer, you should make yourself an obnoxious couple of macro's to remind people that can do the weekly affixes to do them and if there's a common spot people die at or forget to use defensives, have a - REMEMBER TO USE YOUR DEFENSIVES - Macro as a reminder for the group or || Stun the crawlers in UR. Lots of different things can make a difference, and the ones that are receptive are probably the more lax, better players and more likely to stay in the key and get it done. But I genuinely hate keys this season as healer, and I played with so many 2700~ players that die like 10 times a key to the most easily avoidable stuff. People are boosted or yeah, I can't figure out what's going on. On that FH Though, you definitely should have walked the boss out for a quick respawn soon as you were down to just yourself remaining even with optimal dps, it would have taken 6.6 minutes for the kill if you were doing 50k solo. Also should have better timing on your Abom Limb for the add. But yeah, everything else sucks.

How tf can they blame the tank for whiping on a boss that litterally stands in the middle of the room?? That is so funny to me especially when they die to mechanics you are supposed to move from and avoid, if anything, you wipe on the first boss in VP and only the tank is still alive you can guarentee he was the only person not screwing up

Disc healer here. This is a massive problem currently in keys starting with like +15 and higher. Key can be eaisly timed still and people leave after 1 death/wipe that is easily recoverable. Currently counting keys and so far out of 15 and higher I started 352 and only completed 83 (timed only 41). Healing is almost never an issue as people just keep getting one tapped by mechanics or globaled sub 1s by some combos that should have been interrupted I think the issue is that this season you can obtain quite a lot of good gear very fast. Went on an alt rshammy from 380ilvl fresh 70 to 439ilvl in one week (without any big raid drops outside of 2p tier). What this means is a lot of bad players are able to get to close to maximum ilvl very fast and bruteforce a lot of keys with that key and a bit of luck. What this results in is them getting okay rio rating. Seen some people with 2.8k or higher that play like absolute animals and behave like they actually have sub 2k rio. Also it feels like a lot of the good players either stopped playing or are not playing in pugs anymore leaving only this garbage that is trying to fluke the keys until they make it.

I personally pug all of my keys, and let me tell you, you are 100% right about this shit week. I've depleted more keys this week than I believe I did in half of the season. You would think that once you start doing 23s, 24s, 25s people actually reason better with failures and try to learn from mistakes. Big joke that is. Now I wished I would have kept all of my footage with the failures to share too :))).

Stuff like this makes me not regret that I have stopped playing wow. I hope it gets better for the decent players.

Did around 20 keys (+23) and completed (3) of which one was depleted. Yes its horrible but I wouldnt say the keys are hard, it just feels like the players are shit...

This is a god awful week for many reasons. 1 the affixes are awful with pugs. Finding people who actually take dispells and use them is a miracle in and of itself. But also D4 came out during a content drought. So most of the "Better" players are off OHHH AHHH in that game. And honestly there are allot of classes that can't do anything to help with this weeks affix so you tend to get completely ignored if say your a Warrior or other class that can't cleanse the affix. It's honestly another example of Blizzard throwing all the pressure onto healers, a role that's already hard enough to find for keys outside of weeks like this.

This was a rough week for me too. One of my main goals was to get a better timed tyrannical Uldaman and believe it or not two attempts in a row I had 1-2 people die on Emberon. Which is fine, we still killed the boss and it was timable. But both times after killing boss we were perma stuck in combat. The other times where I actually did get past Emberon, we'd have afflicted spawn in really random areas on the final boss and it just became too much. They need to look into this Emberon bug it seems to be very frequently occurring.

I went from an 18 underrot to a 14 one, and I was even lucky to finish that one.

Pugging is still the absolute worst experience of this game, and joining 90% of the guilds where they advertise "active" but there's 2 people online through the week and the rest are offline 32+ days with 200+ members cracks me up.

I'm a Masters adc in League and holy sh*t this video reminded me so much of my ranked experience. In 40-50% of games: No one cares about teamwork, attitude wise you'd think they're confused who the enemy is and also full on ego my way or the highway, it's also better to sabotage the game after a bad play than face your own mediocrity and if you're at a slight but still playable disadvantage many still just go full surrender @ 15 mentality instead of playing it out so your teammates might be able to carry. Something about cooperating with 4 other strangers in a high stakes environment turns (some) people to go ape mode.

That shaman clip is exactly why I don’t tank in keys. So many players out there can’t get their head around the fact that they messed up or suck at the game and then just blame the tank smh.. At least they cutting the suffering of running a key with them short 😂

Good thing i'm more in the casual side of M+'s and so far I only have 2/8 completed in 20 which the portal is the only reason I would push a key to 20. Next patch we will have Mythic upgrade path which any great vault reward from a 16 - 19 (441 - 444) will be upgradeable to 447, making 17's the sweet spot to get End of Dungeon Hero gear and mythic vault reward. I did a 14 Tuesday and all the 15's and 16's I tried went to poop. Even I make mistakes but Holy moly the amount of rage instead of teamwork in a pve mode is insane this week.

I will 100% stand by this statement, i will never accept hunters into my keys due to most of them being seriously unskilled players. I think its due to the fact BM is the easiest spec in the game it appeals to a lot of newer players. Had nothing but issues every time i take a hunter.

Haven’t done m+ this season yet. My experience with groups last season was decent. Mostly good. I only had one bad day like this with constant leavers so I decided to call it quits early and did not have a repeat like that again for the remainder of the season. From my own anecdotal experience on a medium size server, reset day and day after the best days to pug.

So I just got into Dragonflight, I took a break from WoW and wanted to see how this expansion would do after some of the dust settled, seeing how Shadowlands turned out. I ended up doing a bunch of the achievements for the Midsummer Fire Festival. After finally going to the dragon isles, I was level 63 and while questing I queued for a dungeon. Literally, my first dungeon, we went through like 4 tanks and for some reason I was the only person knowing what to do, despite it being my first dungeon of the expansion, the tanks were hella toxic too. Just a weird anecdote that this video reminded me of and if that is a new player experience, I can see why a lot of new players don't come into WoW

Tbh that was funny af, especially the bm hunter. Only thing i would critic you on is the freehold endboss, considering the groupsetup you should chain of ice the add there and for sure not have slappy hands active on the spawn, but yeah it happens. Haven't had any trouble doing my keys, but i just do the 8 weekly 20s and be done with it. This season just has way too many oneshot mechanics and requires some more groupcoordination than before: neltharus bigpull trash chains, brackenhide totem dps check, vortex last boss add dps check, stuns on 3rd boss uldaman and many minor things

Sunday through Sunday ran 24 keys, none higher than 22, finished. 3, 1 in time. All Pugs, no-one cares anymore, all you get are insults, whispers, and I am not even the tank or healer, just a plain old DPS. Sad!

I have ran around 20+ keys above 22 this week and it has been by far the worst week with just 4 timed keys (UR, FH, BH and VP). Some were my fault as healer, some of the others not really. Too few keys and hours of queue and a lot of simple mechanical mistakes you see in like if it was low keys, by far the worst pug week I've ever experienced so far with very few 'good' players actually pugging

Im in pretty much same situation right now, this week its those exact same affixes and i am losing my sanity BIG TIME. My mission was to time one +25 key this reset on my fire mage, despite my best efforts and 40ish hours of playtime i havent been able to get it done. Ive had a +25 key total of ELEVEN TIMES this week and every single one was a disband. This week had a heavy toll on my mental health and relationship with my significant other. At end of every day this week i have hoovered over the uninstall button.

as a new m+ tank its nice to see that this isn't something I have controll over, people are going to do dumb things and get aggrivated and brick keys

I've literally quit for 2 weeks now once I've reached 2.5k rating. Pugging feels at it's all time lowest with complete imbiciles in 18-20+ keys.

I tried M+ pugs a while back and I didn't get invited to a +4 on my 415 ele shaman cuz I wasn't enhancement. Can you imagine what would happen if they let a 415 ele into a +4? I would totally ruin the high +4 key and wipe constantly or something, surely. I'll just play safe in the random heroic finder instead..........................

Oh god haha, this is giving me PTSD from tanking in pugs. I lasted a season without running M+ with full group of friends. It's like working in customer service but the salary being a Reliant Robin car used by a meth head with 3 dogs that have diarrhea.

I main shammy(enhancement) and I look at your second group, the one in the VP. It was very funny because as shaman you have a lot of interrupts and stuns and knockbacks. Your main priority should be to interrupt as many mobs as possible. He had no job of going and use empowered chain lightning to hit 2 mobs instead of waiting for them to gather while interrupting and hit all 6 with this CL. Also he is doing 100k dps. He was running to the other mobs and turning his back to the 1st group so he is doing 0 dps in this period of like 3 sec :D Last week was very ez to get rating and yet there were a lot of people that thought they have brilliant ideas.

I decided not to push as much this season with Diablo 4 being out and wanting to get a character to 100. I can 100% sympathize with you on these runs... I am only doing max 20 keys on my main this season but on tyrannical weeks it is an absolute shit show with DPS/Heals dying to mechanics. I legitimately ended up soloing, 2 man'ing and 3 man'ing many bosses this week on my Pally. It was exhausting. Thanks for giving me a glimpse of post 20 pushing. I am not gonna waste my time this season! :P I have to mention one absolutely ridiculous run of a Freehold 16 you'll find funny. I solo'ed the final boss from 20% down to 0% on my Warrior tank. Stunning the add, leaping away from it, and rotating defensives like a madman. It was the most intense, exhausting fight, and the group just sat there and watched me. Timed it with 2 seconds left!

One should think that people who play +20s and above would know how to avoid swirleys and other easily avoidable damage in dungeons they've probably done 50+ times but wow... PS: Just discovered your channel for the very first time and I'm addicted, lol.

I've had my fair share of pugs in m+. Gave up m+ entirely in SL when all my friends left the game for God knows how long; assuming they ever come back. Without friends who play the game, the game mode is pretty much dead to me. What you call bad luck, I call Tuesday.

This week has been like this for me as well. The difference is that after 2/3 times this happens I log for the day. Plus having no applies to your 20/21 key is really weird.

I think the hands (Strike of the Mountains) on Ularogg on Neltarion is bugged. I have recorded that sometimes you have a proper long animation to escape these hands, and sometimes it's instant damage, and any normal human beign couldn't react fast enough to escape it. I've seen others complaining about it too. That's why I think he died second time at 10:35 . This game is ass.

i had a tank in freehold pull the first 3 mobs, immediately die because he didnt press any buttons, res, die again to the same 3 mobs, then left the key. weirdest key of my life.

Affixes aside these are pretty mechanic heavy mythics this season. I have two ideas on how to fix quitters. Idea one: when you defeat a boss the group gets a replace token. If someone quits on the last boss you can go get someone else. The second one: if someone quits a group the remaining members can vote to give the leaving player a debuff of -10% primary stat for 10 minutes.

my best advice for dargrul, is that you need to stutterstep him all the way back to the far wall at the beginning, you might need to pause a moment to let the healer top everyone up, since him moving does unavoidable group damage, but then once you're at the wall, that damage is basically done for the fight, so there's less big spikes happening. its way, way easier that way. you get some nasty upfront damage but just let the healer know ahead of time to bust out some big cds at the start.

I wish there was an option to turn off IO gain for any given dungeon. The leader could just toggle a switch, and the ONLY thing that would change is that the dungeon had zero impact on your IO. That way you could advertise it as an IO-neutral run from the start and immediately filter all people looking for score. I’m sure they would appreciate it too.

I came back to WoW for Shadowlands, after leaving for six years. Torghast was bad, the Maw was worse, but M+ was the worst experience for me. It divides the player base into two groups: NEETs who obsessively study the fights and master them in the first week, and players like me who only have a couple of hours a night tops to devote to the game. After the first week, every M+ group I joined disbanded. If the timer is going to fail, players simply won't stick it out. The person whose key was bricked is mad at everyone for underperforming, and the players who underperform are mad because the group is disbanding and they're missing out on the opportunity to learn from their mistakes and do better. It's a super toxic system that caters exclusively to elitists. It only took me a few months to decide that after a day of busting my butt at work to meet deadlines and earn merit-based raises, the last thing I wanted was to repeat that experience in a video game. Blizzard's wondering why players aren't coming back for DF, and in my case M+ is the sole reason. As long as their entire endgame gearing system is built around this toxic game mode, it's a hard pass for me. M+ would be great as a challenge mode for exclusive transmogs. As the quickest avenue to raid-tier gear, it's a breeding ground for rage and disdain.

A big reason I don't push past +17s is because it gets so toxic and mind numbingly stupid in pugs. I was in a Brackenhide where the tank kept pulling the last boss without all of us in the boss ring so it instantly killed us all. No matter how many times we told him, he refused to do it differently. We were already 10 minutes past the timer.

Is it just me or are leavers way more prevalent now than before the alliance horde merger? When I was only pugging with ally we rarely had leavers. Then horde came and disbands have skyrocketed

Tip for NL last boss. Position boss so group can stack on his left hand because add always spawns on boss left hand, therefor wall will already be there and add will spawn into wall, instant stun.

Man the worst is actually making it to the last boss and then someone decide to fuck up and just leave.

I have done around 100 keys this week, completed around 30 of them and only timed 5 of them. When it was a week like this i just want to do weeklies and upgrades is a bonus.

I love how the guy who claimed your grappy hands trolled the key died in the try afterwards to a super easy mechanic. But that is pugging. I had a key recently where preservation evoker flamed everyone for not using defensice CDs. I checked OmniCd, they did. But the evoker just did shit healing like not having dream breath ready for damage spikes or healing the group at 90% health with spirit bloom, which is a heal that can top an entire group lol

I just don't feel like bosses are very hard. It just feels like mostly it's mechanics. A lot of people still just don't know what the hell some bosses even do, Hell some people dont understand the mechanics OF THE GAME ITSELF. Also, too many people can perform the DPS rotation of a spec, but still absolutely suck at their class. They just either refuse to use their utility or don't know how it works, either way it's not great. The leaver issue needs to be solved by blizzard somehow. It's so much wasted time, especially as a solo DPS pugging, takes long enough to get in to a key and all for nothing when the boosted keyholder who cant break 50k DPS gets melted by a mechanic he had 9 years to avoid and rages at the healer or something. CSGO has a decent system in place for leavers in their competitive mode, first leave is a 30 minute, then like 2 hours, then 12 hours etc. It ramps up to a maximum of a 7 day ban from competitive play after I think 4-5 leaves in X period of time. Obviously you'd need changes because you also dont want people held hostage in keys for hours but that doesn't seem so hard right? Add a vote disband, if everyone agrees then no harm no foul, and let people leave after X% of time over the end of they key, probably when it no longer counts as score. Or just add a debuff to players who leave, let me know that they've left a key and might leave again, They wont get invited! ANYTHING at this point. Sorry I'm just raging at how shit the system is and how shit the average player is and how there's nothing I can do currently aside from not pug. I don't know what is going on this season, it's not just this week. It's like an unwillingness to learn overall.

I had a bunch of disbands last week. Lot of people playing healers for the first time in 16+ groups, doing 25k HPS and wondering why we're wiping on the first boss in multiple runs. It was painful. Pugs generally this season are poor AF, mainly due to people not wanting to make any kind of effort or show any level of awareness or skill. Even at only a 15/16 key level.

I would say you got caught by *"The Wave".* What is *"The Wave":* A possible accumulation of 5th wheels on the wagon. Players that contributed the least to all their runs but were tolerable by the performance of the other 4. And now multiple of them that haven't learned or cared much slight below the level of your runs now joined your group(s). Usually it ends up somewhere above KSM towards the end of a season and is a massive hurdle to get beyond or avoid when doing your high keys for the week.

Semi new to the Mythic+ scene and I safely cross out some servers: Rag, QT, A52 and Tich if I’m not desperate. Can’t believe there’s toxicity in PVE. It’s crazy to see as a mainly pvper. The only OCE server I know that has some consistent good players are from Frostmourne. And for NA, anything other than the full realms usually are where the hidden players are
