I love watching Byleth not only because I main her but also because I think she has a lot of potential for clipping. Also about the DK 0 to death, good DK players are going to DI away the neutral airs so the combo won't work at all. So instead you can do up b and then neutral air to drag them down (it's better with platforms). Down air after up b is good too but you have to jump before doing it to get the spike.

I can never get the dk zero to death to work. In match he always survives same as sillintor, not sure what he did different in training mode

Basically in training mode the cpu doesn't DI so you can get it there, but in a real match Dk players DI away and survive the second nair so the combo doesn't work.

3:26 that Ganondorf could’ve lived if he did up b or side b because he can’t grab with side b or up b after using up b so he won’t ganoncide. I don’t know why a lot of ganon players just wait until the animation is over because he’ll just keep going backwards.

@@dIancaster that’s because the ganon player waited until the animation was over. If you wait until the animation is over, you can grab doing up b again but you’ll keep going back farther. Ganon could act out of up b at frame 25, which was when he was align with the edge. He could’ve side b or up b back to the stage. “But wait, wouldn’t he grab the opponent?” No he wouldn’t. After ganon uses up b against a character and he uses side or up b, he’ll go past the opponent, making ganoncide impossible to do after doing up b. This is because there is a time limit to grabbing your opponent after grabbing them once.

The zero to death, in a real match with DK DI'ing away, works if you jump and fair at the end. I've done it in bracket and on stream :)

Playing against other people is good to understand the game on a deeper level and habits. Playing against CPUs is good to practice your execution when it comes to combos and your movement against a moving target

DK can di out of that byleth up B nair thing. Just hold down and away and you're good. Sdi the nair and it's even easier

Used to be the case, but not after they buffed up B to be frame 10 in the air rather than frame 12 in the air. Theres a few caveats to the whole thing, but it is a real combo now.

I'm taking notes on that down airs on K rool, it looked super free, or maybe it's just you being godlike at landing them but damn, it makes it much easier to edgeguard him if you don't even have to hit him from the sides I'm gonna have to disagree with one thing though: male Byleth supremacy!! I mean both are good, and at least they kinda fixed the female's eyes in smash but I would've liked her more if she had a normal outfit (if I catch a teacher dressed like this at my kids school I'm making sure they getting fired, doesn't look serious for a mercenary either, let alone a church member/leader)
