Everything you stated is 100% spot on. The game at the moment feels like an extended amateur boxing match where it feels like the boxers are wearing headgear and 10oz-12oz extra padded amateur competition gloves. Hell, it may be worse than that - it's as if they're wearing sparring headgear and 20oz sparring gloves sometimes lol.

The game desperately needs a vulnerability system and head movement whilst moving, also stamina needs to be a lot more realistic, and we also need realistic lunging punches and the ability to actually pivot Also need more directional punches If they can atleast get these things sorted, the game will be so much better

The uppercut is key when using Canelo against Khan. I've gotten multiple stuns being patient and timing the uppercut

I like boxing a lot and I agree wholeheartedly about what you've done. Even though I wouldn't be able to survive in the ring with you with these damage settings I agree. I like to stay on the outside like Ali & Amir. I hope the game developers listen to you.

One thing I’d like them to change is the sound effects like the punch sounds and the breathing sounds of the boxers when they throw a punch.

A bit more Knockdown possibility and risk damage would be nice.

I haven't had issues dealing with Amir Kahn. Most times they are spammers, just sit in the pocket while they throw and when they start to fatigue hit them with that liver shot. I've had Kahns down to 30% fatigue by rnd 5.

Game looks good but seems as if the mechanics are trash. No stopping power, just walk through punches. Hopefully when the game is fully done it’ll be better

I, for one, also want an increase of the default damage modifier value to be set at 2.5. Steam forum has consensus of 1.5. That would be okay too, considering it is at least a step up of the default pillow-fighting 1.0.

Not sure what people were meaning in your last video, you were pretty clear in saying if they play rockem sockem robots itll end in the first round which is why they fight carefully

If you're fighting AI you should use the pro difficulty, they give you a more interesting fight but some of the fight styles are broken such as outboxer they are too passive

Maybe this will help. (I’m a boxer.) More pop on punches. Not so much power all the time. But just the ability to back an opponent up with a punch seems to be lacking Increase jab pop/power/damage. (Increase overall punching power but double the jab power) it’ll make users use the jab more because offensively it’s a bigger threat, and it’ll slow the pace down because of the damage from it. Changing jab power would make it more realistic, because even in real life, no one wants to get hit with even that punch.. It’s the most important punch. And boxing is TIRING. Stamina needs to have an earlier effect on exchange speed, ability to move around the ring (and ability to stand up after being knocked down in the animation). Just a few thoughts

I agree with you dude, I also hate that when they have 20% or less stamina they can just go into free mode and just run away when you have 70+% stamina. they just circle holding block so soon as you throw a jab it hits their block and you cant follow it up because of the angle, I had a fight like this where I was a heavy hitter against I believe Tyson fury and for the entire fight I managed my stamina so I could hit him hard later in the fight, from the 7th round onwards he just used this tactic I explained above, man it was so infuriating when I know I did everything I should of done as a power hitter but he just used a design flaw in the game, this game the state its in cannot be called a simulation when it plays like a arcade game.

The problem is it’s a video game. You want people to have fun or the game work sell. If you don’t have the ability to be reckless or have fun without being first round KO’d it’s not gonna be a fun game and we definitely sell less to casual players. Although I do agree it definitely should be fixed how long it takes to hurt someone though.

To put what he's saying in perspective, the total punches thrown for Wilder vs. Fury 1 was Wilder: 430 Punches Thrown Fury: 327 Punches Thrown They each landed under 100 punches. If they threw more, the fight wouldnt have lasted 12 rounds, and 1 would've been knocked out from either leaving themselves wide open, or being tired.

To me the gameplay looks almost the same as fight night champion, doesnt really look improved. The movements look robotic and what i can see is when they throw punches the feet hold every time so you cant punch goin forward or backwards

I dont get how they score this game per round? Is body punches dont count? Im playing online and im murdering my opponent with body shots my opponent on the other hand is hitting me with jabs multiple times like 4 to 6 jabs that round and I lost the round. Wtf?

I just uninstalled the game, ai is just walking towards you all the time, not circling around or waiting for players move. It ia set to go forward and attack the body mostly. Power punches do not faze them even if landed clear. They shake it off, go forward and land on you again.

martial speaking facts about the fury vs wilder throwing 1000s of punches man this game as much as i love it does so much stuff incorrectly lack of vulnerability is one of them being able to back step 1-2 with little to no stamina drain for an entire fight is BS and people are like well that's boxing no its not its just not and your kidding yourself if you think that 1000-1500 punches thrown by 1 guys in a fight is boxing at any weight above bantam other than on super rare occasions

Play with the power maxed out, it feels more realistic and increases the chances of flash knockdowns 🥊
