@@YuriChan4215I've read all 6 novels and Eta is onely mentioned in passing in1-5, then has her first speaking roll in #6. I don't think anything has been mentioned about her at all. We really need a whole series of novels from the 7 shadows point of view. Shadows POV is very limiting since he does not pay attention or believe in all of this.

The best part about Eta for me is seeing the "mad scientist" archetype done slightly differently, with a lethargic and low-energy character instead of the traditional high-energy mania you would expect.

She is a lot like Cid she is completely foucesd on her goal research loves him in her own way, she wants to research and shadow is the most interesting thing in the world. She does hold romantic feeling for him like the rest of shades.She said she wanted to conduct a reproduction expirement with him. As for the rest of the shades she cares about them the same way Cid cares about the shades, like he is fond of them but below his emenince in shadow goal as seen when he tried to destroy Mitsugoshi.

I don't exactly remember the source but there was mention that when Eta joined SG, Epsilon took care of every hassle that Eta would encounter, we don't know why epsilon went out of her eay to help her. That's why Eta said she would be a Fine Wife

Eta was heavily dedicated to her research that she would go for days without food, rest, or showering. Epsilon always made sure that Eta would properly be fed, well rested, and take showers

In the manga, Elizabeth can make blood clones. Claire was possessed, which means Cid has that gene, making him compatible with vampire blood. Mix the blood with synthetic vampire blood, add some tech savvy and she can probably make her own Cid.
