PLEASE NOTE!!! A great majority of this footage features Acorn Woodpeckers... which, it's important to note, drill grids of holes in trees to store acorns in. This is called their "larder" and they store acorns in these holes to eat later in the year.

It's probably worth to add that they are living in a group... A lot of holes in a tree = a group of these who are protecting their dinner.

Pretty true with most birds. Since they can fly they can afford to make noise, especially since they can escape in 3 dimensions or even just jump off the tree/branch they're on. The main threat a woodpecker has is predatory birds, mainly raptors, who usually have a hard time nailing an animal on the side of a tree where branches might get in the way, and the only way to get them would be to fly past and somehow grab them without smacking the tree trunk. They mainly get killed in their nests, on branches, or if they land on the ground.

Same, except it was metal siding. I've also seen them trying to peck James Hardy siding which is a mixture of concrete and fiberglass. No idea why since both are impervious to bugs so there was nothing for them to eat.

Watop, i have to correct you on the part where you talked about the higest g force experienced by a human ever which was 46 g. But in recent times there was a higher g force experience by the dutch f1 racer max verstappen, who crashed in a race and had a g force of 50 put on him and survived completely fine ( you can look it up if you want to know and see the crash) just wanted to mention this but i really enjoyed the video once more keep it up
