I work at a store. Two young teens were riding these. I saw one girl pop off, get up and run to pick up a toy. She then went and sat back on the cart. While she turned around, facing her friend behind her, she tore the toy out of the package. I was right in front of her cart but she didn't know. When she faced back forward, I put my hand out and said I'll take that. I said, while you're playing on these, a cancer patient may need one but none are available. But that's OK, it's more important you have fun!

When is there going to be a cancer patient in the store? What cancer patients do you see roaming stores...they don't bcz they don't want to looked at bcz they don't wanna be out if having to look as they do and undergo chemo...those carts are usually only used by fat ppl or ppl with leg disabilities...and if not either of those...than big ass babies(kids) ...there are no policies or laws against using one if you don't actually need it so best to just keep your 2cents. And no I'm not one of the ones that use nor will I ever use one...if I will have leg problems than I will get a wheelchair..if I am fat than I'll walk my phat a$$ around the store...bcz that's taking responsibility for my own actions..and I will definitely not get in one just to "joy ride" it's an embarrassing scene

I use one from time to time. I have severe back pain if I stand too long,but I can walk and stand. So don't make walking and standing the basis if your judgement. Some of can stand and walk with pain for a few seconds or minutes. It doesn't mean we can walk the entire store.

My BIL is deaf AND suffers from chronic back and leg pain. Taking him to the store is "so fun". He takes off on me, and I can't even call out to let him know we're trying to catch up as he breezes by at the other end of an aisle. 🤣🤦♀️ My HEA has developed a painful foot condition (imagining getting swimmer's foot cramps that walking makes much worse, randomly, frequently, with no notice, I forget the name of it). He works long days as a painter/decorator, and by the end of the day sometimes needs a scooter for something like shopping on top of the walking, climbing, and squatting he does for 8-17 hours on average everyday. He won't use a scooter most days. But has learned how much help they are when he still needs to do the shopping, even on his bad days. My brother looked "normal" to people who didn't know him. However he was in stage 4 renal failure, and had associated erratic BP and heart disease. Plus he suffered from huge unsealing sores on his feet (everything stemmed from diabetes). He never "looked" like he needed a scooter once he was on one. Getting to the scooter, it was obvious he did need it. But not everyone watched him do that. Also, while I'm not deaf, I have chronic pain, arthritis, pinched nerves, degenerative joints, and ETs that make standing or walking for extended periods prohibitively difficult. I can appear to be completely normal and healthy/able bodied when sitting. But when I'm having a bad day, I'll collapse, usually taking down store displays or other shoppers as I go down. This is extremely embarrassing as well as painful for me. Not to mention that my ETs increase in severity and frequency if I stand for too long, even on my best day. I won't use a scooter if I am having a good day. But get so much grief when I do on a bad day, because I don't "look" disabled until it's too late. I don't agree with people using the scooters as a prank. Just explaining that many people have need of the scooters, so don't appear to need them.

Honestly, you can't judge someone's driving in one of those. My sister was in a bad car wreck, she actually died, but 4 months later against all oddsand by the will of God, we brought her home from rehab. We stopped at a store and she had to use one of those and it was horrible to learn to drive! You have to know she was still in a halo and had had a closed tbi. So she wasn't fully recovered. But I tried and couldn't even help her. Somehow, we made it through the store and out, and I don't know how.Granted I am not talking about these guys, especially if this is a prank.

You never know why people ride the carts. I can walk for very short distance but not long so i have to ride one. In 2018 i broke my entire back didn't walk for 2 years. I now can walk good for about 10 mins at a time but the longer i stand my back gives out and i can no longer hold myself up. To look at me you would never know. Unless you see my walk.

Why do people whisper when someone say they're deaf? Like that person will somehow hear you better if you speak lower 😂
@mistyskaggs48613 ай бұрын
Because hearing people use their vocal cords naturally when they talk and they obviously know the person can’t hear, but they are still talking to them. I have a deaf co-worker but I still talk to him and he just reads my lips.

Are you serious or are you not paying attention to the video? There are 2 people, someone says “he’s deff he can’t hear you” and the response is “BOTH OF THEM ARE”. There are 2 people, the guy driving and the guy SITTING IN THE BASKET. they are telling the guy to get out of the basket. Only at the end does it seem like he’s asking them both to get out because they aren’t abiding by the rules of the store and are being kicked out because they are clearly being difficult to get a reaction for views on the video.
