Great message. ....This is advice from a 43 year old who binge drank on weekends and abused drugs. It led down a horrible pathway. I didn't know I had autism and covered it up with substances. Now, I have severe pain chronically. My advice is that its never too late. I live on my own, pay my bills, do groceries. Keep plugging away with any interest you can find. I believe that it will eventually lead to something good. You must stay disciplined. Drop the bullshit out of your life like frineds who are bad company. Start young.

I definitely notice this in the music scene I'm apart of. I occasionally go to a show or festival but the people who go to every event they really don't have much depth to them and all they talk about is what event they're going to next. You could easily just lose yourself just chasing the next thing.

Blessings are earned not pooped out for random sloths who don't know how to appreciate or have grattitude because they lack the work ethic. Start learning to improve your life, others barely know how to treat themselves better if they have addictions and spoiled entitlements of infantility.

I was partying in my teens and gaming until the mid 20s. When I was 25 I started to work on myself. I can say that I was really far behind many others in my age. I do regret it. Although some people are still stuck in there at 40+

I don't go to parties- I was always pretty elegant and positive but the guy I went to bars with didn't like that I couldn't say I was some top manager or nurse or well I had a regular job and not a career. He didn't like that but you don't get a career overnight. heart❤️this message because it's right, it's true. All I have is right now. I have to do what I can now. Definitely understood. Hopefully the barriers aren't many🙏🏼 I like my body and myself, people who bitch about it wanna be in it. And so there's alot to work on- but not that many. I believe in decorating and enhancing myself as I am. Being feminine but not so feminine I end up a victim. And I also believe in holding people in reputable positions in accountability for their actions, whether a dentist, cop, pregnancy doctor, teacher, nurse and on and on. Thanks for the video fam, Ive watched it dozens of times. This describes me except I took it into my 30s!!! I constantly chased every drinking and partying opportunity. At 32 I made the biggest career mistake ever and when I went to look around, all these people way younger than me are so well settled in their careers. I have no savings. Safe to say, Im done with drinking and partying...starting my life over saldy at 33 but serious this time.

I didn’t. I was known in the fam and neighborhood as hating bars and clubs. I still think USA makes partying and entertainment as a priority and entitlement right. I’m so sick of it. Newsflash:…it doesn’t stop for some people and is even worse with Retired people. Some are like teenagers with money and no responsibility. I hope I can keep working and doing projects all my life. And have you scrolled linked in? Companies constantly showcasing outings, ball games, etc. to entice young people with entertainment. Yes, it’s good to socialize at the office BUT I was under so much pressure with my colleagues to hang out with office social events it took almost as much time as work. If I were younger, I would be taking on extra jobs that are available, save the money, learn more. There is work and opportunity everywhere now. Getting a business degree? Double down and learn a trade too: plumber on the weekends. Work hard young. You will not regret it. Hard work ALWAYS pays off! Ps: I’m 57 and looking at another master’s degree and a trade. I love work but I don’t have the energy as I get older but I’m doing my best.

Alcohol will take your time and money, the people you are at the bar with will eventually discard you once the party is over. Its been 11 months since I stopped drinking and I absolutely don't miss it. The bar scene is all very surface level, people are only there to meet an agenda, and that's about it. They don't even see you as a person with feelings. I'm a Senior in college with scholarships. No drama, no drinking, no dating apps, no clubs etc. I got serious with my life after I performed at a student recital in Szczecin Poland in July.
