You should be using a shampoo such as Paul Mitchell’s Shampoo 3 for the days that she swims , following up with a moisturizing shampoo and deep conditioner . I highly recommend the design essentials line . Their almond and avocado detangling shampoo & conditioner will help repair the moisture in her hair and by using the deep conditioner (once a week , preferably picking one of the 2 days that she swims ) her hair won’t feel as brittle and dry since she does swim a lot . The deep conditioner I recommend is the Almond Butter . Thank you for watching 💙

Back in the 80s we would oil our hair with blue magic or vaseline before we went swimming. It always helped protect our hair from the chlorine and sun.

I don't recommend using a comb attachment if you're aiming to get your roots straight. Only use a comb attachment if you're looking for a quick blow out and you're maybe getting ready to braid down your hair for a protective style. You should be using a brush like the one shown in the video . While holding the brush onto the hair at the roots, you should be applying tension and concentrating the heat at the roots (while moving the blow dryer back and forth in that area ). That will get the roots as straight as possible. Then from the there, continue blowing out the rest of the hair shaft. Hope that answers your question 💙
