I only play hwo so take my opinion with a grain of salt but for me its better to not have any notation, because this way i have to actually know what move is used when on my own, I'm just given the sequence of moves which i individually know rather than a series of inputs. This lets me have a bigger base of moves to use for more situations since I can actually remember them all and know what can go to what and from which stance. So for learning characters, especially hwo, just sitting in the lab playing around with the move list is actually quite useful, since you'll then be able to copy these combos once you're familiar with all the most common and useful moves for all the stances. This is also useful when you need to alter a combo because of being off-axis or closer to the wall or at a balcony etc.

@@mrcydesign This makes a lot of sense, and I completely agree, knowing the moveset without memorizing a specific series is way more valuable in the long. I guess I'm just lazy and I asked for the notation in order to save some time labbing.

@@mrcydesign ehhhh yea but that’s for when you’re starting the character imo, I’d rather see the notation for the combos because it allows you to use different combo starters and enders, especially if you already mastered sum combos wit Hwoarang, but that’s just my opinion🤷🏽‍♂️😂

Glad I got into him most characters I didn’t really feel like playing besides king but he felt very easy to counter so I went with Hwoarang recently I do to seeing him in Tekken 8 trailer and I love his gameplay can’t wait to get better going into 7-8

Depending on side wall and ankle of opponent, if he is backturned for example 1, b3 is better, if the character is sideways 124,b3 or 12f4 can work.
