Didn't think you'd do SAO next. I was planning on reading the Novel at some point. We have it in German. But I really like the Abridged series. The downside is, that I have Abridged Kiritos voice stuck in my head now for free. But he seriously has the best lines in media. Especially that one line where he said and I quote: "Listen, no language on earth has a word for how little I care. A quantum supercomputer, calculating for a 1000 years, could not even approach the number of fucks I do not give." SAO Abridged is just too good.

Funny how people take the series completely different from how the author wants to. You said he ‘fix’ but the truth is he never really fix anything. The main series is about VR vs reality, but for some reason he crafted the Aincrad so good that people think the series it’s about game. KEKW

And I'm saying this because this short introduction to the progressive series actually made me question myself about waiting until next week or actually buying the whole collection. I've read the reason for the whiskers and rondo of a fragile blade from my copy of Sao Progressive Light Novel Volume 1 many times in the past so most of this I already know.

The light novels actually explain what the characters are thinking and how game mechanics work, as well as world building. Meaning instead of Kirito yelling and stuff happening, you'll know exactly what he's doing and why. Alicization light novels are significantly better than the anime. Same for Progressive The novels are pretty heavy on inner monologues and world building, which the anime just axes entirely. About the only thing it does better is putting Aincrad in order. Alicization also suffers from some pretty significant content cuts, and WoU specifically makes some changes I do not even remotely enjoy. It's a really mediocre adaptation at the end of the day.

Imagine someone like oda who writes one piece was given saos premice, he would go off on each floor , in the original sao anime they were skipping 25 floors an episode, They should of dove deep on the friction between the front line players and the starting town players, went deeper into guilds, like a lot of other isekai do and have these massive guilds who control entire floors, can delve deep into friction between them, maybe guild wars

The only problem with SAO for me are too many skips, too much r*pe scenes and no depth for the MC I hope this series fixed them. Still excited for this new series bro keep up the good work!!
