Personally, I absolutely LOVED it lmao nothing is more revealing about a character than the things people say they hate about them. I learned a lot about my main in Tekken 7 reading hate posts lol

I’m a Ling player. I’m not great at the game but I am a little knowledgeable and do watch a lot of content revolving around her. While I do agree she needs to be tuned down because she is very overwhelming in this version of the game I do feel like she’s getting so overwhelming hate-bashed. Like nerfing her damage, ok fine I understand, then nerf her mixup, ok since she doesn’t have great pokes it will hurt a lot but fine, but then people are also like nerf her evasion. So know what you want is a worse version of T7 ling that just takes up a character slot and does nothing and sees no play and is only in the game for story mode. Like does she nerfs yes but let’s not destroy a whole character because you’re frustrated about certain things a small percentage of the player base can do since she still one of the least played characters in the game and there’s an even smaller percentage of those who are actually good at utilizing all of her tools. She’s not a pickup and play character. Jun, Draganov, Feng have a better ease of use and a better pool of players and while I do see hate and people asking for nerfs for them no one is asking for basically the whole character to be thrown away the way people ask for ling.

Hey man I have a question how do I get running F2 and also do you ever have trouble with the heat dash from f1+2? I feel like it don’t get it mid combo but it may but me with bad inputs

Do a dash motion as fast as you can (ff), then immediately after that, press and hold forward a third time again and hit 2 at the same time.

1:04 I know this is probably explained in your MANY Asuka vids. But I see you go for this string a lot instead of just using db4,3 to get the pick up. Is this just more consistent, Or do you like being flashy? I mostly play Lili btw so I’m curious.

the b2 moves her forward a little bit so it allows her to connect db14 where if you did db43 immediately, the db14 will whiff. It also carries slightly more since she's is "pushing" them with the whiffed b2, it's a good habit to get down, oldschool technique in t6/ttt2 where her 2,1,1+2 combo was very inconsistent so doing b243 made it more consistent.

On top of what was said, in tekken 6 (b+2)4,3 also did a bit more of dmg than db4,3, so when it was changed to the same dmg it became just a custom among some Asuka players

@frozenbo7amza hes definitely better i also think Mr. Croft and Electrified man are better those 3 i feel are actually Xiaoyu players Chicken and Changbing just play like top players picking random characters there obviously good but doesn't feel like there actually playing Ling Electrified doesn't play competitively but ive watched him dominate Dastry in a mirror and his mixups are insane Gotta says Yordz is probably better though but ive watched Yordz and Croft mirror and pretty sure croft took it but it was just first to 2 so who knows

Xiaoyu can be top tier this tekken, but Asuka is still a counter match up for her (b+3, d3+4). Not saying that Fergus didn't play well though

More cries about HYP 3 when there are chars out there with safe launchers, or mixups that launchs both ways, or guardbreaking mids, infinite strings of plus frames, etc. Yes, she is stronger now, like every char. But she was the same xiao than first matchs, u had her weakness and then forgot about it someway... You think xiaoyu is the strongest char in the game? Ridiculous. Im sorry, you are probably better than me at tekken but i think u r not looking at the numbers out there. Not only win and pick rate, but the frame data of others chars or the insane mixups out there way more dangerous and even totally safe. The thing is that i dont think u havent seen those, so why her? I also think you should have a better look at king, dragunov or feng, the amount of safe and plus frame moves these and other chars have r more than what xiao has and with better properties too. Also about the throw evey1 complain about too... she is not the only1 with one of those... paul has, steve has, jun has, jack has and i dont remember more rigth now but surely there r more out there. The purpose of you playing against this xiao was complaining about her your attitude the whole match was "im death"... well, xiaoyu players always got that hate from the rest, even when she was the weakest char of all, now she isnt, so i get it, you have reasons to cry. If she were the best char of the game i can asure you, the game would be fill of ppl abusing her, same as they r abusing dragunov now, ppl loves to abuse strongest options... they see a game where xiao wins and they say "OMG xiao is broken", then they probably try to do something with her and it turns out she is not, most of her strongest moves r unsafe, even the ones that give her plus frames r easily countered if u know how... She just won u at mindgames, was a good match tho.

I started playing xiaoyu in tekken 3 where she was the weakest of the options... had no punishment at all, no good low options ... I just recently started tekken 8 and I found out that she has improved a lot but her range is still the same... I hate when people say she is broken... like law, king, jin, paul , NINA were always top tier... You wouldn't see anyone complaining on them...

@@DannyBob08 I was a very good player in tekken 3 and my friends forced me to choose random character so that the can defeat me... Only with Xiaoyu they were able to defeat me... She was so bad... She is still way way weaker than paul, kings, kazuya etc... that's why you will not find high level player with xiaoyu..
