@@victoriamaynard722 well, all the rest of the locomotives he shows are generally representing just 1 member of a class. Plus, I don't really care, I'm just being petty for the sake of being petty comedically and educationally.

I was going to ask why Lady of Legend is controversial, but then I remembered that they used a Hall (4942 Maindy Hall) to build her. In a way though, it enabled a circle to be completed, as a Saint (no. 2925 St. Martin) was used as the prototype Hall. Lady of Legend is a lovely engine though, was able to travel behind her a couple of times at the Severn Valley Railway last year. I have a soft spot for LMR 600, not only because she's an SVR engine, but also because being an LMR engine, she travelled to and from the village of Liss a lot, which is where my mother grew up!

@@smedleyfarnsworth263 How much is plenty? A classic freight train in 1960s China contains 3x class QJs and 50 cars (that's 5000 tons in total). Big boy can do this on its own with similar setups.

@@smedleyfarnsworth263 I know, the fastest steam locomotive. On this aspect the mallard is the best. Instead of boasting about size I simply think there isn't enough freight for heavy haulers, therefore the brits can focus their output on the speeds. If there is too much to be hauled you would want a slower loco with more traction.

@@Hanstheninthboss It was formerly owned by the British army before being stored and used at the Severn Valley railway, in 1999 it blew a boiler tube so it sat on the side of the tracks rusting away until 2008 when it was cosmetically restored and put in the Highley engine house. It was only in 2008 when the army formally relinquished ownership of the loco.
