Please measure after! I'm an addict to your channel. You teach us to take very good care of the clear coat. You demonstrate and show us to measure what we have before touching the paint… But please show us how much we lost after the correction! Thank you🇨🇦

I am going to acquire a salvaged car hood to practice different techniques, including this. I started wet sanding deep scratches on my Shadow Black F150 Limited & quite frankly I was panicking when it starts " damaging the clear coat." The 1st time really is a leap of faith.

You could still see it but it does make it better. I’ve used it a few times and have had mixed results sometimes it works other times it’s a paint seems to like certain colors/ clear better than others.

Wow. That looks great! The limited amount of wet sanding that you taught me per videos makes me look like a miracle worker. This "filler" makes it look even better. I've got to try it. Super video, Brian. Thank you! .

Brilliant turnaround, the customer must have been very pleased with that. As you say, respraying is an alternative and should be better, but as we all know, sometimes can be detrimental.

I like doing these types of repairs, the results most of the time outweigh the effort, that is one product I do not have from turtle wax that I need to get. their slick n slide pure wash, rapid decon, inside job, 1 and done compound, and the pure shine mist detailer are all good products I have used, there are better ones out there, but I feel the price to performance ratio on these is great for my weekly washes on my daily truck. I have so many other brands I like also, it's nice to switch it up every few weeks with my products........ by the way congrats on the new shop, bet it's nice to have all that room.

I've been a painter for 30 years. There is no way you are hiding a scratch that has gone all the way through the clear coat. When you sand the scratch, you are taking off the clear coat to the depth of the scratch. If the scratch is all the way through, it's common sense that you're not getting it out. You need to know exactly what you're doing and be really careful when you try it. If you go too far, you're paying for a respray. You should also be aware of which manufacturers are frugal with the amount of paint they apply and whether or not the car has been repaired. You should ask yourself if it's worth the risk for the amount you're being paid. For me, that's a no. The only way I will attempt it is with the understanding that the customer is paying for a respray if it doesn't work out. A simple trick is to wet your finger and run it along the scratch; if it doesn't disappear when it's wet, it isn't going to polish out.

Excellent video as I am always looking for better ways to fix scratches and dings. I really like how you sanded and polished the resin after it dried. I could not see the scratch when you rolled the car outside. Thank you for this valuable information.

Hi Brian. A few videos ago you asked for any comments to improve your KZfaqs. I enjoy everything you do and ask that you add some waxes and sealants testing and comparisons. I enjoy applying sealant and waxes on both my metal cars and Corvettes. I don't have much interest in ceramic coatings. I know this goes against popular opinions. It has been a LONG time since you addressed sealants and waxes. So that is my request. Keep up all the great videos and consider adding wax and sealant protections content in addition to your ceramic/graphene coating KZfaqs. I've learned a lot from your videos. Thank you for your dedication and enthusiasm.

DISCLAIMER: If you’re going to apply this product, do NOT apply it to “several inches” covering the scratch on either side… do the entire PANEL of the vehicle. I’m now left with a 3 inch swath of clear coat, in addition to the scratch right in the center.

Brian, I watch a lot of your videos but this was a bit of a disappointment. You didn't give us a close up after just the wetsand and polish step, and you didn't use the scan grip to get close and show us the full after result. Both of those things are crucial to helping me form an opinion of whether this product is worth it.

Beautiful blend work. So how much clear was removed with the wet sanding? You did mention that the factory finish was beginning to flatten. Did you measure the depth afterwards?
