Cheers to all the Portuguese people, may this summer be a great comeback for all of you and your families. Tourism in the Algarve region especially is so important. Been there and loved every minute of it. Man, honestly, I wish you guys would have stayed on the mainland so we can see more of the million hidden places in beautiful Portugal. Not saying anything bad about Madeira, but on a personal basis, I would get island fever as we call it here in the states. Great video as always.

Amelia 99% of amateur golfer play bad golf. But it’s such a fabulous sport to play , and you can play with a professional or an old person , it does not matter you play your own game , that is why there is an handicap. I will look you up in Madeira and we girls go golfing. And remember the clothes and shoes are too die for.

I'm a big admirer of all that the two of you do!!! You may not answer this question as it's a bit off topic. As a Manhattan resident, Central Park just doesn't do it for me any more. I would like to know if it's possible to buy some land and establish a small operation, gentle on the environment, yet be a high quality Gentleman's Farm on the island of Madeira??? Even 10 to 20 acres would be big enough for my purposes. What are the most popular crops and livestock on the island? I appreciate your consideration and when the heck are you going to establish a Patreon account? I'm not the only admirer who would like to support your ongoing efforts (which are extremely entertaining and informative.) So... Thank you for your time.

Yes, it is possible to buy land on the Madeira island. On the south side of the island at low heights, the most popular crops are: bananas, sugar cane, mangoes, custard apple, grapes and passion fruit, on the north side: apple, cherries, pears, plums, etc.... Livestock: cattle, sheep and goats.

It is not yet the right season to visit this coast and the caves, it is better early October to the end of the season where there is no influx of July, August, and September 😉

Hi 👋 Firstly, let me thank you for the great content you've been constantly putting out on Portugal. You do a really good job and your enthusiasm is great to see. However, this video, much like most of your videos on the Algarve, fails to show the culture of the land (e.g., its rich gastronomy, historical and natural sites, etc). Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura are playgrounds for the rich. Nothing but deculturated places. They're not representative of the Algarve. Here's a few places you should consider visiting instead (from East to West): Castro Marim, Vila Real de Santo António, Tavira, Ria Formosa, Olhão, Faro, Loulé, Porches, Ferragudo, Carvoeiro, Silves, Alvor, Monchique, Lagos, Aljezur, Carrapateira, Sagres, Odeceixe, etc. From the Castro Marim and VRSA marsh nature reserve to Southwest Alentejo and costa vicentina nature park to the mountain ranges do Caldeirão e Monchique and everything in between you'll find what being from Algarve means: not luxury resorts, golf courts and yacht harbours but a land of ancient traditions and rich history. Keep up the good work and thank you once again for the great content you always deliver.

No Concelho de Vila do Bispo 37,4% da população são estrangeiros , Albufeira 35.8% , Lagos 32.1% , Tavira 25.5% e em Loulé onde fica a Quinta do Lago 25.4% mas a esmagadora maioria mora junto da Vila de Almansil que é a freguesia da Quinta do Lago. Na quinta do Lago a maioria são Portugueses , empresários , futebolistas e os honestos políticos , os estrangeiros ricos tendem a preferir lugares isolados para viver e a maioria dos que se vê na Quinta do Lago alugam as casas aos Portugueses. O Golf da Quinta do Lago foi inaugurado em 1976 por um Senhor chamado Otelo Saraiva de Carvalho e agora vivem de facto lá muitos estrangeiros mas durante muito tempo a esmagadora maioria eram xuxialistas.
