Hi folks - loved the master’s picks. I already have Shane in my bet, and interestingly I have Hideki as well, who was meeting a lot of the criteria noted in your chat. One ‘outside’ bet for me is Sergio. His ball striking has returned, his putting looks better than normal, and his driving is exceptional. In saying all of this, and coming from N.Ireland, I’d pay all the money I have to see Rory win! Let’s hope he can hold it together and just free flow.

It’s funny to hear you talk about pimento cheese sandwiches. I live in Alabama and that is a very common sandwich in the southern United States. It’s our equivalent of y’all’s beans on toast! It’s good to us, but I can see how it wouldn’t be to someone who didn’t grow up eating it.

For some reason... (and he's not a favorite player of mine), "I've got a feeling" Wyndham Clark will win it this year. Also... Augusta National has bird sounds piped in with speakers strategically placed in the trees (so I've read/heard)... that's the attention to detail of the overall experience.

If I had to make a bet on the Masters it would be that Scotty will not win! He is just the best player on the PGA this year...winning 2 out of 9 tournaments played...and the 7 that he didn't win, he lost against who...? I would put a bit of money that a LIV golfer will walk away with the title on Sunday... Wouldn't be surprised if Bryson does something this year...since he changed his driver he's driving has been bloody good and his very consistent draw (not to mention his distance) suits the course, and he is one of the best putters when he's on...

Looking at the list of the invited golfers to The Masters and seeing a bunch of nobody's from the PGA and PGA-affiliated Tours...but not Dean Burmester that won LIV tournament this weekend against a very strong field with many Major winners, and 2 tournaments in December on Sunshine Tour including the 2nd oldest Open in golf...and not Louis Oosthuizen, a past Major winner who also won 2 Tournaments in December on Sunshine Tour...and not Taylor Gooch who was probably the best golfer last year and LIV champion player of 2023 and leader of the money-list...? What a joke...Majors could easily become just 4 more PGA Elevated Events soon...

PGA has done a great job of programming the average cable watching idiot into thinking the PGA's poster boy, Rory is the next coming even though his last major was 10 years ago.
