Profit or loss in the books is not the same as it is in transfer fees. And even if they want to sell home grown players it doesnt mean you have financial problems. It is just logical from financial point of view. If you sell home grown player the whole transfer fee is counted as a revenue and if you sign a player on a 8 year deal the cost in the book is only 1/8 transfer fee. So if we sell gallagher for 60 mil and we sign 100 mil player on 8 year deal, the books will show that we made a profit.
