Hey Necros, great review. I'm the mods author. Couple things: First, the chemical detector is designed to function as a better version of smelling because, basically, smelling can only detect gases that has an odor and doesn't work if you are wearing a gas mask, while the detector fixes both of those problems. Second, cyanide gas normally doesn't cause any effects for 8 seconds after exposure, then it starts to take hold. Regardless, cyanide is almost useless out in the open. Third, that weird arm issue you were dealing with. That is because I had to use something called the swep creation kit which allowed me to essentially have a model drawn over a default half life 2 grenade which I had shrunk down to avoid clipping (I couldn't figure out how to make custom viewmodels) and the shrunk down model sometimes stays over when you change swep. Just go back to the original grenade to fix. Fourth, the flamethrower shot weird particles because you were using optimized gas particles (which are the default designed to avoid crashing servers) and I use a harmless effect to mask particle spawning. Honestly, the flamethrower is only good with the precise particles, which behave like actual gas, not the fake optimized particles. Fifth, the hint saying bombs detonate in midair is wrong. That was from a piece of code I honestly forgot was in the mod, that has been fixed in a recent update. Overall, glad you enjoyed, and funnily enough, I had released a major update for the mod a few hours after you uploaded the video, adding Nerve Gas, Tear gas bombs and canisters, and even a cyanide bomb (frankly useless, but why not).

I’ve made chlorine gas irl. No color. Stuff makes your lungs tickle. Real heavy like. You start coughing, then you just feel weak. Unfortunately there’s not really a way to describe it, but it’s a very pleasant, warm feeling. Very scary once you come out of it

i do belive mustard gas was the most deadly gas in ww1 not by total number of deaths but just cause of its lethality
