One thing I love about Eriksen is that he concentrates solely on football, just like old school footballers of United did. Pogba, Lingard were too busy maintaining their social profiles and brands (which I dont really blame them for but not everyone can juggle that and football like Beckham). Eriksen just wants to play football much like Keane and Scholes and I think United need that sort of a personality right now

Quality wise, this team is the best in EPL. One thing though, has to be sorted out, and that is work rate off the ball. United allows other teams too much liberty and comfort on the ball. They are never in a hurry to regain possession when they lost it. This problem has been there for some years now through different coaches. They have to learn to tackle as a team and press together as a team. With that, given their individual qualities, they will become strong contenders for the title.

@@ac-t2152 i tend to agree with you :) there is a reason why Zidane and Xavi said that he was the best midfielder. His vision and passing, especially the long diagonal balls was out of this world. I think Eriksen resembles a lot of this legend’s qualities, both as a human being and as a fotballer.

I partially agree with you. I'm a Manutd supporter and I have watched Scholes a lot but it's not true that Xavi + Iniesta = Scholes, I think you're taking it a bit too far. Scholes alone is easily comparable to Xavi alone. I do agree though he was great but someone can challenge you by asking how many champions league trophies he won and compare it with other great Midfielders e.g. Xavi won 4 champions league trophies and he played a significant role in them. Just because a team praised Scholes and players mentioned him does not mean he is the best of the best
