It's so weird to me because they were just recently (relatively speaking) talking about how they've achieved seasonality with Infinite and can finally get things really rolling and then they announce there's no more seasonal content instead they're just doing content drops.. whenever. And there's that news about them working with a new company to do UI and UX stuff presumably for Infinite but somehow the upcoming update still seems like it has this air of gloom over it, as if it's the prelude to the sunset. I'm probably just overthinking it tbh - I hope at least cause it would be heartbreaking for them to be moving on when things are finally getting on track

Yea stability is as important to players as it to consumers, they kept breeding cheating and confusion with all the changes to ranked ("seasons"). And until they fix cheating, Halo isn't going to thrive like it should. It's the same in the real world. Crime increases risk ($) thus reducing participants willingness to engage. Cheating in Halo sours the passion of players. It's funny how many mid/high Diamond players I slap around in matches, like they cheated to get there. I get in Diamond lobbies and dudes are all serious but have no good coms, coordiation or strats. They cheated to get there.

@@XxXAntiJoshXxX I think they'll still have ranked seasons since HCS is still going and it'll probably be like Halo 5 was where they reset them seasonally - at least for a while

I'm Platinum 2 (On PC) from the UK and not able to get a game most of the time? Is that normal? It just sits there for ages and then I get a message saying error or not enough people choose something else? I end up just having to play quick play most of the time.

I think there is a setting where you can change your region. Set it to “Global” and I think this should help

they don’t have a financial incentive to sunet infinite. they are realizing that battle pass seasons are not why people actually enjoy playing the game, and focusing their efforts on other things.

Been going for max rank on mcc. Simply because the classic halos will never die. This game will just be a sad memory of what could’ve been. So much potential just for people who don’t even play halo to run the game

Too little too late that's why. Also if halo performed on pc like a game should pro play would have been key board mouse. Next one it will be or at least there will be a distinction between the two because ppl are sick of mixing them and thinking your a fair and competitive game in modern gaming for having pro league
