Took test ride of Himalayan 450 recently and completely agree that the weld quality and fit finish is worst, got my KTM adv390x delivered last week and loving it, completed 1000kms and 1st service is due. I am not a fan of RE but still considered it because of the hype it got , booked triumph scrambler 400x immediately when it was launched but still somehow adv390 made much sense to me

The problem with royal enfield service centre is they are always ready to say the issue is normal before you even say the issue. Their mantra is "it is normal". Sometimes I feel Royal enfield trains their technicians to say their manthra rather than repairing or diagnosing the fault.

They don't even consider that bro since it's a 250cc only. It'll do most of the things that a himalayan can do at a fraction of the price without giving any headaches during the ownership. For the kind of trails they do, a v strom is more than enough.
