Try wading the surf early early morning. Throw silver spoons or paddle tails. A lot of nice trout.

Where in Galveston are some good spots where you can fish off the bank that is not difficult for someone with walking difficulties can fish? Some of the locations in this video look like it would work, but not sure where they are.

Trying to get into saltwater fishing a bit more. Any tips?

Use higher pound braidage or monofilament. If you're surf fishing a longer pole is the key to casting far. Use steel leaders if you plan on catching anything with sharp teeth. Also heavy weights usually. Get a cast net for sure. Little crabs and mullet are great bait. Anything ya want to know specifically?

Google Pics of Redfish With The Most Spots. I was totally surprised. ...some real mutants. . In recent years, Capt. Eddie Berthelot, Jr. caught a redfish in Louisiana on which he counted 670 spots. And just this year, a Texas angler caught a red drum that definitely qualifies as a “leopard” redfish - they counted 311 spots on one side of the fish before giving up on counting the other side.Nov 11, 2022
