Hey LN, just want to caution you. Having been a painter for 40 years, Be Careful on that ladder!! I reccomend someone be with you when you use it for high work. I lost a friend a long time ago on one just like that. He fell, cracked his egg and knocked himself out. No one found him till it was too late. I know people think, oh it's just a step ladder, I'm not going up that high, etc., but I'm telling you, from my earliest days as a painter, I've known people that have been disabled/died using step ladders. Not trying to freak you out, just be more careful. I'm disabled now because I lost respect for a low roof and got sloppy about my safety. You get bit when you don't pay attention to details and realize that even a fall from as low as 5 feet can change or end your life. Just a word to the wise, the way that ladder is set up, your asking for trouble. I like you, your family and your videos, so tighten up and keep on keeping on brother.👍👋🖖

On my camping gear I kept in much in the same way , I had a large plastic tote with my pots and pans on utensils plus a Colman lantern , and a covered hatchet and a folding hand saw . So I think that would be a great set for Camille!

What about taking the books to 2nd and Charles? They buy books and then you can just leave the ones they buy in the donate pile. It would save you from having to pay someone at the dump.

5:16 that cutting mat was made for cutting fabric and craft paper, there maybe a cutter in one of the boxes, they look like pizza cutters, there are also plexiglass rulers. It would be great for your shipping station.

Gas prices are so outrages, you have it pretty bad in CA. I live in Iowa and yesterday I put gas in my car and it was only $4.19 a gallon for ethynol and I thought our prices were high, but I guess I got off easy. I'm praying the economy gets better soon for everyone, both in the US and the world. Thank you another interesting video!!!!

Because of YOU Jack I started buying and selling trains on eBay. I get them from local auctions and it has been a great addition to my business!! My local auction house had a 20 part auction with old Lionel O gauge stuff that was a huge win during Q4 this past year. So much fun to sell too!!

The part that's missing on the CB radio is the mic. You can find them. SBE: Side Band Engineers is the name of the company. My 'spousal equivalent' has been a ham radio operator since the 70's. I asked him what he thought the radio might be worth. He said the value would probably be more of a collectible value than an actual commodity value. Maybe $50. Whatever someone is willing to pay for it is the value in this case.

I paid over $200 for a large cutting mat like that I use it for cutting fabric with a cutting wheel.

I don't like those buyers on Ebay who quibble about the price - as soon as I saw that bridge, my snap judgement was $1500. Always possible to grab a solid bargain on Ebay though - I recently bought an astronomical telescope for half of what I was prepared to bid for it. Those Russian aircraft models might be somewhat more desirable at the moment, given the situation in Ukraine.

Isetta cars are micro-cars, designed as itty bitties in real life. Basic transport stuff - they weren't made for too long. Made for sale in Germany after WWII (Messerschmidt factory???). Collectors go nuts for the real thing and I"d bet the little ones will sell handily too. Some car guy will be after them.

As meticulous as this guy was it really shocks me that he had over a half million dollars worth of collectibles stored in a non climate controlled locker letting them get all dusty and covered with cobwebs and chewed on my mice. That’s just unbelievable that they weren’t stored more carefully.
