I remember doing this before the 2.0 update. Saboteurs didn’t have cloak and we’re just generally weaker, but it was funny seeing a group of them pistol someone down.

I didn’t realize sabo had both firerate and damage upgrades that’s sweet

practically anything can do this now once upgraded. Saboteurs in particular are funny though due to people underestimating them (and the jumpscares I suppose).

I typically get all the cheap upgrades for infantry and not spawn anything on the first two waves (although I do do some rod strikes to get manpower), then wave 3 do Daedalus + infantry spam and some cloakers and other basic units if I can afford it. Daedalus picks people off and infantry weaken them to be one shottable by Daedalus or rod strikes which I use on anyone that stops moving. On most servers it works.

Max upgrade Cloaker spam, I've done it. Feels illegal and funny to see them try to hide from 34-60 Cloakers going at, 40Mph with 600Hp each and seeing them all lunge onto 1 person at a time is the greatest.

I played as Mastermind yesterday and it had only Sapper related upgrades 1) They nerfed saboteur for mastermind, and removed attack-related upgrades 2) Or maybe it was absent because of 50% difficulty set UPD: it was only because of difficulty set - 50%

literally today I was just playing a “normal” game of epilogue but we all got stuck at wave 2 because a saboteur was glitched and it was invisible so we all just restarted the server but the saboteur was actually at spawn (I saw him but I didn’t tell everyone nor shoot him lol)

Seeing this i tried learning how to counter sab spam in mm (mastermind) Type 1 (explosives) The 2.0 update of dvn has lowered the sab health to 100, like the infantry. So that means when sabs are in a group, explosives like the grenade launcher can possibly work on them. The terminal velocity can also be useful with it's Q ability that can do a ground slam when on air Type 2 (melee) Shovel and overcharger are really useful in spams, and since the mastermind cant upgrade sab health, you can easily 1 shot sab spams, and only need to focus on trying to get a hit on them, but this can be a risky technique because sabs can dodge your swings, their dmg in numbers can kill you, their cloak can make them go move faster and make unpredictable moves, and their chance of placing landmines, its risky to melee fight sab spams when your near landmines or when they are placing one. But the overcharger's Q ability can stop that. Hope this helps, and i will find more tips to counter sab spam Type 3 (bolter) Not many people might know how to use the q ability of the bolter but here is a good tip. It doesnt matter if your far away of the enemy, unless they are exposed. Throw the detonator with the q ability of the bolter and shoot the detonator, since its slow you can still shoot it. Once you shoot it, it will kill all sabs that are on sight some might survive but you have delt a big chuck of their army, even if they are cloaked you can still kill the sabs

How did you have them survive all of it? Whenever i am mm and i send a single shielder on like wave 2, almost everyone just die to them.

They really buffed MM hard this update, don't khow if they are gonna change some stuff since it the "final update" but oh well. Atleast you can actually do more strategy and build now, compare to the previous MM.

this is why i love bolter. it dosent care where you are of if your invisible (IT WILL KILL YOU IF THE BOMB IS SHOT)

Mastermind strategy to ruin people's days. Send little forces for most of the game to farm up manpower. Meanwhile, upgrade your rangers to max, and get the charge time on snipers maxed. On wave 4 or 5(i forget which) Send max rangers Daedalus max apus and the rest u spend on snipers. If you have any left over add an engineer and spam shielders It has, as of my testing in publics and private servers, a 100% winrate.

I did cloaker spam and almost won 4 times. Then I won by sending in a helicopter into battle with 6 cloakers with max speed.
