Last week while I was at KL, I saw ichang and jimmy walking around The Gardens Mall but was too shy to stop them and ask for a photo so I just wave at them and they wave back. It was the highlight of my day.

I feel so proud to see the part where a Malaysian customer tidy up their table nicely. We need more Malaysians like that!

I feel that Ichang+Jimmy being stuck in HK is like doing "apprenticeship" for 2 years learning the art of cooking Malaysian dishes/desserts and came back to Malaysia as Masters. I can safely say you guys can cook better than some of us here. I am pretty sure ichang+Jimmy enjoy the local cuisine even more with their in-depth knowledge and experience gained from cooking for the past 2 years. Really big respect and hats off to you guys for the passion and determination.

Hi IChang and Jimmy, you guys should try the restaurant next to Mahbub. Bala's banana leaf, the banana leaf set is amazing with the unlimited supply of side dishes and if you order "ayam goreng" it is made to order so its so fresh, juicy and fried to perfection.

I love Mahbub's daging hitam and my hubby loves the ayam bawang. alhamdulillah we are staying just around bangsar so we're not far from the food that we love.

Usually there are three rice type selection. You can ask for nasi kandar rice, white rice or briyani rice. Some restaurant also have yellow rice. :)

jimmy-san eats nasi kandar like its 'the love of his life' ...my goodness!!! he is truly a great candidate for this kind of A&P....Good Job Jimmy & iChang!!

Mahbub is famous for their Briyani Ayam Madu. It's my family's favourite... You guys should try it next time. Just order "Nasi Briyani Ayam Madu"... They will serve & bring the dish to the table.
