this is oddly relatable- my bedroom is right at the end of the hall with the bathroom right next to it and I always sleep with my door cracked open (almost closed) and also have these plug in lights that shine right to my door so I can almost always see if something is there. Scary-

Omg I can kinda relate to this story because my room is in the back of the house and I see the black void to. Well I remember once I woke up to a creaking in the back of the hallway. I sat up and saw a shadow and some one CALLING MY NAME! No one in my family sleepwalks so it was terrifying

This is probably Sleep paralysis I have this a lot I had it two days ago well this is an example of Sleep paralysis it is when you cannot move your muscles and start seeing things I remember also when I was 4 and my bedroom was being remade we had to sleep down stairs so this was my first time having Sleep paralysis so I had no idea what was happening and why I couldn’t move a muscle and all that but like 1 minute in I started seeing big spiders crawling on me then I saw a figure just like you but it wasn’t moving I tried closing my eyes but when I did this I just kept having nightmares and each one I had this black figure just kept on moving closer and closer to me until o think when I had like 4 nightmares I think I woke up and I was breathing so fast then I went to sleep again since then it is happening a lot this was 12 years ago and I’m still having it and having trouble sleeping and every time I have it (Sleep paralysis) I see this figure but I don’t still see the spiders it’s a different thing every time this happens because your basically sleeping but your brain is active (this is the edit) I forgot to put this in if you couldn’t move it’s a huge sign of sleep paralysis and you can ONLY move your hands and turn your body you can’t get up and you can’t speak because…. Your sleeping of course
