Beckett use to have a bump for hometown players, Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers players which I believe was 5-10% above guide. I've seen this in my own hometown of Boston for Bird, Orr, Teddy Ballgame and Tom Brady.

The title to this video is dead on. Although the best young players' graded cards, and raw cards for a lesser price, are as liquid as all the great vintage stuff, they just move more both ways and they can be devastated by injuries and retirement and a host of things that cannot happen to mickey mantle and jackie robinson cards at this point. Like anything, if you are putting money that is substantial to you into sports cards, I like that play personally, but most of that money needs to be invested down the line after you have learned a TON and don't need much advice from others when it comes to what you are most interested in (Favorite sports, players, sets, etc.) Great Vid!

The Giannis Mosaic MVP cards are what I'm investing in right now so when he gets a few more MVPs they will go up alot. I dont recommend the base only the Prizm. So far I picked up 7 and all cheap. Giannis Prizm cards in general are so cheap it's a no brainer

BGS 10 cards are wayyy more valuable than PSA 10. Not even close. Brad you should do some more research. BGS has a way tougher grading sytem than PSA. Buy Black Labels for your PC Brad.
