@@markcampbell2491 I’d like to disagree. The manual Porsche gt3 is arguably the best car in terms of supercar. There are barely any modern manual super cars plus the driving experience is unmatched. This v10 r8 is a baby Lamborghini huracan and it looks good, that’s about it

I hear about the lack of truck space all the time on the R8's. Where do people think they're going in an R8 that they need to pack heavy? My R8 V10 Spyder is strictly for weekend drives and occasional around town driving. I've used the trunk a total of one time. IMO, the R8 is the best daily supercar ever made.

It’s so true. And I can add….on snowy days when all my friends are at home admiring their super cars in their toasty garages. My R8 is dragging me out of bed and forcing me to go to the nearest ski resort… it’s awful.

I got a 2018 M4 Manual and love it. In a year or two I want to pick up another car and I've been debating between an R8 and a Carrera. Do you seriously dislike the R8, as I've heard mixed things about it. What would you recommend?

Had both cars - and you can not compare them. Have had 911 (997 S) and 911 (991.2 4 GTS) andet 2016 R8 5.2 V10 Plus.. all fantastic cars. You Van fit 4 people in The Porsche and The Sound and performance is great as a Daily - but The Sound Of The V10 🤤🤤 that is real super Car Sound 🙏🏼 but not as practical as The Porsche. I loved all Of Them

I think you could have added that the quattro only drives in fuel efficiency mode, aka only powers the front axle unless it needs to switch on the rear axle to provide additional grip offroad🤣 Actually serious question: Does it actually do that in efficiency mode? I know the quattro on my fathers A6 does this, that by default it powers the front axle, switching on the rear axle only when necessary. On my E90 with Xdrive, it runs 40 front to 60 rear in default. I recall that the FWD mode supposedly is more efficient than RWD / Full 4x4 engagement.

nah buddy the car is not bad its just you don't like it, it doesn't mean if your engine doesn't sit in the middle or you cant fit a sled in the front of you supercar is bad, the car a good option is that you have a bad taste and you cant just say its bad point.

I'm a 67 y/o cat who doesn't need to look like Top Gun going down the street. I don't drift or do launch control ( well, may be a couple ). The R8 is perfect for picking up my Rx's and bottle of scotch for after the drive. The V-10........... oh the V-10.
