I LOVE THE GHOSTS SO MUCH!! I feel like they were scared and angry at the start because theyd been so alone for so long, but after following them around for a bit they realised that they were nice, and when they spoke near the end they wanted them to leave so they wouldnt have to go through the greif they did. Also when they said wait when they first used the spirit box I like to think that they were gathering all the ghosts to speak to them :3
