Dragon has been a letdown during egghead/Kuma flashback, but I think this is kinda what oda wants us to feel about him to question him as a character. But when we eventually see his flashback and what ever happened to luffy birth mom, could connect the dots for why he’s so cautious as a leader. Oda could’ve easily had dragon explained why he didn’t save Ginny. Which seem like a hint something like this has happened in his past but he failed the rescue mission, with only casualties on his side w/o saving the person who could potentially be luffy mom. Oda is keeping dragon as a morally grey person for some reason so I hope he cooks with his character, or this would the biggest let down in op history for a monkey D member after all of his hype.

Katakuri is not losing to Ulti and its for a few reasons. 1: it’s been stated that the yonko are relative in their fight force power, if Ulti was stronger than Katakuri then all of the other sweet commanders would be way too outmatched to make that initial statement true. 2: pre rooftop luffy in base is not stronger than wci gear 4th snake man. And even if he was, wci gear 4th snake man is weaker than katakuri. 3: The udon prison increase luffy’s strength substantially. He went from not being able to move in sea stone cuffs to lifting multiple ton blocks casually. And kaido does say that luffy has gotten. But it makes more sense that he’s comparing luffy in his base forms and his application of armorment. Which wouldn’t matter as much because ulti wouldn’t be able to match snake man levels of speed and future sight. 4: Katakuri has more experience, Hax, speed, and attack versatility. You can’t even scale ulti’s speed to luffys because he blitzed her and attacked page one. And then she grabbed him when he was off guard. And then she got one tapped by Yamato. Katakuri would choke her would mochi like he almost did to luffy honestly. And ulti isn’t fast enough to hit kat. I go by the manga btw chapter 982-983.

one of the things i most want to happen in one piece is for dragon to have a paramecia fruit. i think the abundance of mythical zoans we have now alongside logias which have always been considered the most powerful of the devil fruits have left paramecias feeling like the definitively weakest category (with the exception of the tremor tremor fruit of course, but blackbeard also has a logia so it makes his paramecia powers feel less special), so having the most dangerous criminal in the world who has long been speculated to have a logia show up with just a paramecia that he has awakened and completely mastered and kick the absolute fucking shit out of logias, mythical zoans, and whatever the elder stars are would be so cool and unexpected. it would also be a nice contrast to luffy whose paramecia power was revealed to actually be a legendary mythical zoan. plus i agree that him having a "weather" or "storm" fruit makes more sense than just a "wind" fruit and i cant really see a weather weather/storm storm logia fruit making any sense since theyre not even remotely elements. also maybe this is just my autistic ass focusing on arbitrary details too much, but i think it would be a cool way to like, "round out" luffy's family in terms of their powers. luffy has a zoan fruit, his brothers both have/had a logia fruit, his grandfather has no fruit and is a haki master, so his father having a paramecia i guess "completes the set" in a way. idk it just feels fitting to me.

when we see Kuma at Thriller Bark & Sabody Archipelago his eyes seemed to have been modified by vegapunk, But in chapters 1101 & 1102 in some panels we can see his normal eyes under his glasses! I think we'll see more of him in this arc, not how people want but exactly like you described as a support character, why did vegapunk need to tell dragon he's going to die specifically? why when first see him he was stuck on a robot and to his words has wrapped there, (warped from where? and if he can teleport why not use that to escape?) I think dragon is behind the deadman switch, even the technology used can be easily explained by a vivre card and some invention of vegapunk that allows him to tap into other den den mushi. Why not just tell the message? why need a visual den den mushi and why announce the delay? there is a bomb that going to be dropped, not just information but also visual confirmation. the deadline is given for the world gov to do something drastic in desperation and they did, Imagine him broadcasting the gorosei rampaging on the island, rushing to destroy the evidence in their demonic form, unmasking the devils for what they are, if words aren't convincing enough, then seeing that would be and dragon is pivotal in this not as a main player but as a support character. The gorosei will defeat luffy there is no doubt about it, having said that winning the battle they will still lose the war, the transmission they're looking for isn't in egghead, it's in ivankov's island and in their rush they won't take the time to finish off luffy so he can be rescued, this is like that banana island incident, the trigger to the final war, except this time it's reversed, darkness will lose to the sun. I would say dragon doesn’t need a devil fruit to accomplish the wind feats, we saw a group of old “climate wizards” that nami stayed with. Could they be part of the revolutionaries or maybe dragon just has a couple of them and uses science to control the flow of battle. What if Dragon is Uranus? He's the leader of the revolutionary army in human form, but if he has a zoan dragon form, he may be the leader of them as well. A "king of the dragons" that controls them with the voice of all things, similar to shirahoshi. This would explain why the world gov hunted dragons to near extinction, fearing Uranus may use their power against them. As a secondary and exclusive theory.. Uranus isn't Dragon, but someone in the world gov who commands an entire swarm of dragons to unleash their breath attacks from the clouds, acting as their island destroying weapon. alright so in short, you say that Dragon is the greatest "air" support in the world. yea I'm not a fan of the league thing but sure it got the message across. Also the point that Dragon could be using Mirage like power to hide Baltigo is crazy. When you first mentioned it I was like "wtf no" but then you kept explaining and now the more I think about it the more sense it could make. Like He wouldn't even need to be there possibly to apply the mirage. He could possibly have time after using it and he could leave, go to east blue and return to do it again.
