It's good to be back, gang! I took some time to work on a video topic that I'm really stoked about. The magic you can achieve by running both a reverb at the front and the end of your signal chain. I hope you learn something from this video, or you at least enjoy the compositions in there. If you do, then please consider leaving a like, comment or share the video with your partners in tone. Endless gratitude to you all - Stefan

One thing that can be fun with a "boring" analogue synth is to put a reverb before distortion. So maybe put another reverb after that again? Yes, I'll try.

@ThePedalZone awesome video. I’ve come back to watch this a few times. Question: would you say there are any options for people that want an early chain reverb to do well in both categories “1 sustainer” and “2 shoegazer”? Need something for sustained modulation as well as that wall of heavy dirt that also adds sustain. Thanks again for the great demo videos and all the knowledge. Best pedal demo channel on KZfaq.

Hey bro! Just picked up the new CXM Chase Bliss - Meris CXM 1978 reverb collab and it made me think of you. I’ll check to see if you put out of demo for it yet but if you haven’t you should. If there was ever a reverb pedal made for your style of playing, it’s the CXM.

A big sounding spring reverb into a compressor into a Big Muff sounds absolutely HUGE - compressor adds even more sustain to the reverb trails, added to even more by the Muff, which also distorts the trails and disguises the reverb as fuzzed out extra long sustain

Stefan, another thing that makes this video so good is that a lot of us already have a substantial collection of pedals and are trying to wean ourselves off bad cases of GAS. This video, which highlights great use of existing pedals and is not simply a demo of the next "must have" pedals, breathes life into what we already have on our boards by providing inspiration to try new combinations of old favourites. I am not aware of anyone else doing this and I hope you find an expanded audience due to your efforts.

Stefan please make a patreon. I wanna throw money at you. You could do a more nerdy breakdown of pedals, showing what knobs you are turning and talk about why/what it is doing. I just got a Hedra and had extreme anxiety trying to figure out all the extra effects. I had to put it away in shame for another day. This happens a lot, so learning more about pedals and what the knobs are doing would be nice for complex pedals, or simpler ones for pedal newcomers. Or you could just put up little 1 minute clips of a pretty riff. It would be really nice to finally have some of your beautiful music. Or put up nothing and let me pay you because I think you're neat. I love what you do, please never stop

Time and time again you make really beautiful music with your demos. This one really reminds me to simplify my setup. I’ve got multiple huge boards and I’m better off writing when I focus on just a couple of tones and pedals rather than stacking 10 different pedals and just making a mess (sometimes fun but always chaotic and only rarely useful).

Any modulation after reverb is killer, but yes, Chorus is indeed exceptionally great for it

Every time i get into this channel i'm more and more convinced to get one of those "Dark Verbs" like Transmisser, Night Time, Levitation, Procession, Dark Star, Procession, Dark World... And the list is growing... :(

I really appreciate all the examples! Phenomenal job showing that Reverb is probably the most dynamic effect there is. Might try to put the Slö at the beginning and the Fathom at the end? Plan on getting the Avalanche Run eventually because I really like how it pairs with Pyramids

Trying the same two myself, are you liking that order? I just bought them so any suggestions would be accepted.

Love love LOVE the sounds from 5:38 til 6:13! Afterneath is probably my all time favorite pedal. At least half my tones involve two reverbs, most often one between fuzz and modulation and another at the end of the chain. It’s also possible to do really neat things with stacked delays... the other day I fed my Space Spiral into a Disaster Transport SR and got unbelievable ambient drones out of it. A new favorite sound! Keep bringing the great content Stefan! You truly inspire us all to do more with the sound of our guitars!

Wonderful demo of my favourite effect type! You know... I always watch your demos at least twice. First a quick look when you upload them and then when I have some relaxing time drinking some coffee or a beer I really enjoy them! For 100% wet, I always use the Avalanche run. For me it's the best reverb on this.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing your tips. I'll try this with the limited pedals / gear that I have and possibly even in Ableton with VSTs as well.
